I've been loving wearing skirts this summer season. The top is from shein, skirt and heels from myntra.

Inspired by patchwork design that I have been very drawn to in the past few months. I wanted to make the pieces playful, cute and whimsical and wanted them to have that handmade feel to it.

Both the top and shorts are from h&m.

Trying to figure out what pairs well. I lean towards darker/neutral tones generally and black is almost always part of my outfits (if it's not already obvious). I'm not too sure about the last combination, rest I feel work alright - pls give suggestions! Also ignore my messy bed situation.

All of these are made by hand by me in my little studio! The first collection is called Mehraab | मेहराब inspired by the arches I saw in Rajasthan. There's something about the shape of these arches that instantly transport you to another time and I wanted to translate that into the wall pockets, frame and wall art. For the frame and wall art piece, I wanted to invoke the feeling of found objects - ancient relics you'd stumble upon at an archaeological site that somehow survived intact. The second collection is the stitched stories collection that is inspired by patchwork designs and I wanted to invoke a feeling of warmth like a quilt stitched from mismatched patches of clothing by your grandmother. There’s something so beautiful about discarded pieces of clothing finding each other again. No two patchwork pieces are ever truly the same. Very much like handmade clay pieces. No matter how much precision, math or science you put behind the process, your hands never really move the exact same way twice. And that’s where the beauty lies, I feel. That’s why I’m so drawn to both patchwork and ceramics. They embrace imperfection, unpredictability and chaos and somehow turn all of this into something so special.

The suit is pretty old - got it from myntra.

I used to be in a corporate job for 6 years but I quit a few years ago to build something of my own and be my own boss. It's been such a journey to learn a craft, do it every day to get better at it, build a studio space from scratch and run it all on my own. It has been full of ups and downs but I wouldn't have it any other way. I tried to make my little studio as cozy, warm and inviting as I could and I feel so creative working here, I get happily lost with some music or a podcast in the background working with my hands in flow state. I also love that I can wear whatever I want and make anything I can imagine. Makes me feel like a magician 🪄 Sorry about the random ramble but some people had questions the last time I posted, thought I'd clarify. I also just love documenting life and sharing my thoughts which is why I love to post here on reddit!

The first dress is five years old which I happened to find while cleaning my closet - i think I got it from myntra. The blue top is from ajio.

Some of these were custom orders for my small business and others were personal projects.

The top is from h&m and pants are from a local offline shop.

I've had this idea of a mehendi adorned hand to hold your jewelery with a mughal inspired arch as the backdrop. I'm already dreaming up version 2 and all the ways to make this even better, but for now I'm pretty proud of how this one came together. For version 2 I want to make the mehendi darker, more prominent, the fingers more dainty and the arch slightly bigger. What do you think?

I am leaning towards the first combo. I used a butterfly clip as a tie-up for the shirt - I think it looks cute. Alsoo how's the ear stack? Any suggestions on more accessories and footwear?
