ZX600J6F Running issues
Can anyone help me diagnose why my bike runs like sh*t after like 5 mins of riding, it starts fine when cold, then dies and doesn't start again, when it does, it runs like this, then dies and doesn't run even when push started. (Ignore the red light, my water temp sensor doesn't work)
The battery is new, fuel pump was replaced, ignition coils were replaced for denso 129700-4840, carb and jets were cleaned and float needle valves replaced, k&n air filter was cleaned, fuel tank petcock isn't clogged (tried starting the bike with the fuel cap open too), Spark plugs were replaced too, battery reads around 14v at 3k RPM so im guessing my stator and regulator/rectifier still work, the impedances on the stator were within spec too, and it used to run fine up to some days ago besides having to replace my dead battery (cause it sat for a while).
So fuel delievery isn't a problem cause i still can hear the audible pump click when i prime the pump after the bike has died, also drained carbs and they were full.
Could this be an electrical issue coming from my Harness, IC Igniter, Crankshaft position sensor or are my carbs just flooding? I also forgot to adjust the Spark Plug gap before installing them.. but it had never caused this problem. Has anyone dealt with anything similar?.
My bike caught on fire on the left fairing once so, some cables are charred.. (ill attach pics in the comments), I just don't know what to replace or check for at this point, I recently bought the section of the Harness for the Ignition Coils but it hasn't arrived, any idea what i should check?, I might end up replacing the entire harness, but my bike is a US/CN model and idk if a CA Harness for the J model will fit it, has anyone done that swap? (they do have different P.N; 26030-1827 US / 26030-1828 CA).
