Looking for dark, atmospheric rock similar to "Passenger" by Deftones, soothing part of "sir this is cutthroat fashion" by Her words kill(no screaming)
Hey guys, I'm trying to get into rock music. I mostly listen to dark, atmospheric R&B and hip-hop like The Weeknd. I have listened to Arctic Monkeys and liked them, but when i heard the soothing part of sir this is cutthroat fashion, i was mind blown. i figured this is also my taste. i also heard the dark side of the moon, specifically liked "breathe". i was an average teenager listening to rap and hip hop, but want to go into rock or alternative ( i dont even know the name of the genres well)
I recently listened to White Pony and "Passenger" is the absolute perfect blend for me, again, soothing part of sir this is cutthroat fashion is also good—I love that heavy, driving, cinematic tension and the smooth, soaring melodies, but I really don't want harsh screaming/aggressiveness (songs like "Elite" are way too heavy for me).
