Beautiful murano candy dish picked up at a car boot sale for £12 today. I guess it flew under the radar due to its red glass inner layer but I could see the uranium green tint in the sun.

Emergency plumber recommendations please.
I am visiting my mother in laws in the centre of the city for the weekend and she has a leak under her sink which has been going on for some time. She says she has struggled to find a local plumber in the past for little jobs so I was hoping someone could recommend a reliable chap who does small domestic jobs. Probably won’t call till the morning, we have a pan under it for now. Many thanks

Just heard a horrifying story about someone getting some toes cut off in a lawn mower. What are you gardening injuries & was it totally avoidable?
The lady in question flipped the running mower on its side and “flicked” some built up grass out of the bed of the mower with her foot while wearing flip flops! Severed her big toe and the one next to it, luckily they were sewn back on but oh wow. Anybody got some gardening tales of injury and accidents either idiotic or otherwise?
