Maggots

Hypothetically you find live maggots amongst fresh food on the shelf due to a spillage, what steps do you take as an employee after finding these maggots?

What does it even mean?

I’ve been picking since I can remember.

Before my teens, I would suck on the ends of my hair as a way to regulate, I only stopped because my mother scared the living s***t out of me and told me I’d get a hairball and it’d cut off the blood flow to my heart (lol.)

Early teens, I would bite my nails and pick the skin on my fingers. I stopped because once again, my father scared me.

Then came the spots. As I got older, I got acne as every teenager does. Now I’m 24, and I think I’m feeding into the spots that I’m still getting.

I don’t understand why I do it. I pick at spots and scabs. I’ve even got scabs in the back of my hair from scratching and picking at myself? I don’t get pleasure out of it, all I get is scars. My chest, arms, stomach, legs are all scarred from picking at spots or scabs.

Once I’ve picked everything there is to pick, I pick again, even if I know there’s nothing left to pick at!

I never knew this was a thing, I also never gave much thought to it until now. My fiance has mentioned it quite a bit recently, about how I always have red blemishes and swollen / bleeding areas on my chest and shoulders, how my arms have small scars from things that I’ve picked. I’m currently laid in bed now, writing this after picking. I feel unsatisfied that there’s nothing more to pick. I don’t know how to explain how I feel, I don’t feel angry, guilty, sad, insecure. I just feel let down that there’s nothing more to pick? I’m unsatisfied, and I don’t know why? I just feel underwhelmed. I imagine this is what a puppy feels like when their owner won’t play with or entertain them lol. What even is this

Struggle with 144FPS?

I just bought the ASUS TUF 16, I’ve not changed anything as of yet or really downloaded much.

Realised though that I’m getting a little bit of lag when I play 144FPS on shooting games. Now I’m not much of a tech wiz, I know nothing about computers. Is this because of WiFi or because of performance issues? When I put the fps down to 60 there’s no lag, but I know that my gameplay would be much smoother on 144.

What settings should I change

AMD Ryzen 7 170 Processor
RAM: 16 GB DDR5 / Storage: 1 TB SSD
Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 7700S 8 GB

Off leash Training

My dog is 9 years old and still is unable to be let off leash in public spaces! We’ve tried to train him, he doesn’t even listen to my dad’s recall when off leash.

He’ll listen to everything my dad says otherwise, but when off leash, all he seems to care about is running after wildlife and disappearing. He’s a Jack Russel so I understand the hunting nature, but I’d like him to have some freedom to just run and enjoy life. Any advice?

Book that I am writing: Hazmat

So I am currently writing a sapphic dark romance. I’m currently 14 chapters in and was wondering if I could get some feedback. Would any of you like to help me with this?

I’ve currently just winged it thus far, but I’m now worried about the framing and the pace of the writing. I’m wanting to escalate things to now establish the romance aspect as well as increasing the morally grey intensity but I’m just not sure if I’m going the right way!!

I’ll include a sheet of triggers in the download for if anyone would like to read my draft. I don’t want to trigger by posting them here!

Currently I am on holiday in Italy but I’m hoping that if I get any comments or messages about this I can send the draft over by the end of the week!
