We just came back from 2 weeks holiday venturing Venice mestre - Friuli - Venice Island (Cannaregio) - Florence - Rome

Please dont judge if some of these are touristy, i am a tourist haha.

1. Seeing St. Marks square in Venice for the first time with the people playing music in the background at sunset hour
2. Waking up in a vineyard in Friuli looking at the sunrise behind the rolling hills of the grapes
3. Walking into Sistine chapel seeing the splendor of the ceiling and the “weight” of the room
4. Finding made in italy, wool and cotton clothes in mercatino for a steal
5. Having truffle pasta & Hugo spritz in Florence for the first time - beautiful
6. Bypassing all of the people lining up that doesnt have tickets to go to popular museums
7. Having the best gelato of my trip (i just had it from 2 places) the night before i depart as a last dessert
8. Securing a discounted cute lemon moka pot from Bialetti discounted store
9. Walking through the collosseum underground pathway while listening to audio guide imagining where all the gladiators and animals are being kept
10. Seeing Villa Manin for the first time and its splendor exterior and imagined recreation of the splendid garden behind the villa, also walking through the garden grounds imagining the things that was once there.

What is some things you need to be on the same page with when you are travelling for the first time with family (extended) or friends?

Ill go first. Once, i went with a group of friends where they just go viral restaurant and cafe hopping throughout the day.

Another is when i went with my friends that are stricy vegan and vegetarian and refuses to go to a normal restaurant that has a vegetarian menu, eeeek

Everytime i travel, it seems like my insides knows im not at my home and i find it hard to p**p when travelling and i always get yoghurts and yakults at the supermarket. Is there a better way to prepare? Im travelling to europe next

I once bought a made in italy leather shoes in Australia, branded Charles cooper. I am visiting Italy next month and was wondering if anyone knows where to buy that brand in Rome, or if anyone has a department store or local brand they would like to recommend for a good long lasting local made italian shoes (not designer, not so expensive)

1. Which area would you recommend for the things i am interested in?

2. Is it all over the city or concentrated in 1 area?

3. So is it lots of country pavillion or contemporary art design?

4. Buying the 30 euro ticket, does it grant you all access to all of the exhibitions?

Hi there im staying a total of 3 nights in Florence in late september. Ive got a must see sightseeing which is Uffizi gallery. But the rest ive planned on seeing sm novella perfume, aquaflor, and must eat restaurants. Would slotting cooking class be a magical touch to florence? Or would perfume making class be? Though ive only seen aquaflor one and its out of our budget range (340euro pp).

1. Please advise whether cooking class in florence would be a good and memorable idea

2. If so, which classes would take 3-4 hours and can be applicable outside of italy at our own home?

I land in Milan, was going to stay in Milan and pick up car there but was thinking twice because of the traffic and ZTL and cause its our first trip to Europe driving. Switched to going straight by train to venice mestre and staying overnight there. Is this a good call or is there an even better call?
