Aunt passed away and I have a 3' x 2' box of jewelry from her house. The box is full to the the top. I can't tell what's silver, plate, gold, who knows, without a lot of work. It's at least 1,000 pieces, maybe more
I see an XRF gun can be rented for a week. Has anyone done that? If so who did you use and what was your experience?

I‘m planning a ride for August or September. Pacfic Coast Highway from northern Cali all the way down to the end near LA. I plan on splitting it in two week long rides, parking my bike at a friend near San Fran, flying home, and resuming a few weeks later.
Any tips from anyone on the ride, now that the stretch in Big Sur is reopened? I assume I am going to the correct direction since the pull offs will be ocean side. What are the not to miss places and side trips?
