Student is on a rampage against me because I caught them cheating

I was teaching a digital painting class with a strict no-tracing rule. Throughout the class I caught 3 students tracing. 2 students admitted to it and were given the opportunity to redo the offending assignment with only a -10% grade penalty on the assignments. The outlier denied that she traced even though it was the most blatant. In her first week she didn’t even trace, she just blurred parts of the image to make it look painted while other parts were pixel by pixel identical to the reference.
Her other assignments were clearly traced and she could only provide her video process for the painting segment, not her drawing, and said that her drawing videos were “corrupted” files and that’s why she couldn’t provide them. She said that her photoshop document should be proof that it’s real but you would still have a Photoshop document even if it’s traced.
Anyways the academic integrity committee, chair, and dean all agreed with me. They told me to fail her on all of her assignments. The student was furious and said that I did not properly explain why I think it was traced. In the first two weeks I gave her an explanation but to some degree I didn’t want to give her a guide on how to cheat better. But in the end I gave more of an explanation even though she will just use it to cheat. She left a horrible student review for me about how she would never be comfortable taking another class from me, that I should be fired, that it felt more like a trial than a class. She sent my chair a dean emails complaining about me. She’s refusing to take her academic integrity remedial course and is now at risk of being kicked out of the school. She’s also stalking my LinkedIn.

Movies with a similar vibe to Swiss Army Man, Little Miss Sunshine, and Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Basically, I'm looking for something kinda quirky, wholesome, and touching that will leave a lasting impression, with a vibe similar to those movies. I guess you could also say something with a bit of an artsy flair, like all of the titles mentioned above. I'm open to both foreign-language and English-language films. Thanks for the advice!

AITAH for refusing to confront my cousin about her hygiene when my mom is the one inviting her over?

My cousin stays over at our house pretty frequently because my mom keeps inviting her. I'm 27 but pay rent for my bedroom. My cousin is 23 and lives in a dorm nearby, but my mom invites her to stay in my sister's room every time my dad is gone (because my dad can't tolerate having her around). The problem is that she is incredibly unhygienic (among other social issues), to the point where it’s making me genuinely uncomfortable in my own home.

Some examples:

  • She wipes her pubic hair onto the shower walls and leaves it there.
  • She leaves used tissues everywhere.
  • My sister's room smells awful after she stays in it and is totally trashed.
  • Worst of all, she left used tampons in the guest bedroom on the floor badly enough that our dog dragged them out and actually ate some of them, and we had to get it surgically removed from her intestines, which cost thousands of dollars and could have killed her.

I’m honestly disgusted and frustrated because this feels way beyond normal messiness and into basic sanitation territory.

My mom agrees it’s gross, but instead of saying something to her herself, she keeps telling me that I need to confront my cousin about it. The thing is, I don’t feel like this should be my responsibility when my mom is the one repeatedly inviting her over and allowing her to stay here. I feel like if you invite someone into a shared house, it’s your job to handle problems with that guest. And frankly, I am just not comfortable talking to my cousin at all due to other reasons, like her purposefully destroying my property and other incidents.

I told my mom that I don’t think I should have to manage hygiene issues for her guest, and now she thinks I’m avoiding conflict and being immature.

I might eventually say something myself if it keeps happening, because I’m tired of living around this, but I resent being made the “bad guy” when I didn’t create the situation in the first place.

Also, before you say it, yes, I am considering moving out because of this. I am moving out next month to spend 4 months in Tokyo, and I might not move back after and move to LA with some friends depending on how things go.

(Art Professor) my students keep cheating

I’m currently teaching a digital figure painting class. I outlined in my rules that their homework needs to be from observation and not traced work. That being said, I ignore all of the assignments that are clearly traced and let them pass because the administration says “what if they are just really good” despite the impossibility of everything being a literal one for one overlay. So while I think a majority of students at tracing I let it pass. What I do not let pass is more blatant copy and pastes where there’s the actual reference photos still remaining in the photo because they forgot to cover it up. In one submission someone forgot to do their bogus paint over on the whole image and one of the eyes is still just the reference photo. In another one they clearly just used a blur tool over the reference to pretend they painted it but there’s areas they forgot to blur and there’s suddenly a 4K pimple visible out of nowhere that directly overlays with the reference. I’m tired that most students get away with it without these most extreme blatant errors but I’m resigned to it. Even the most egregious examples the school will only punish them with a 15 minute zoom call and I can’t even fail them.

I passed a student 2 years ago and now realized they were cheating now that I have picked up a new class

So I am an art professor. I was teaching a character design class and was very suspicious of a certain student because their proportions looked perfect but their technical skills like line work were really lacking. It’s a huge red flag that they are just tracing images. They also were drawing supposedly Chinese generals that were just shirtless Samurais and weren’t capable of adjusting the designs when given feedback. So I looked on Pinterest for shirtless samurai’s and found she was tracing AI photos off of Pinterest, a one to one copy. When I confronted her she just said that we could “agree to disagree” that she was in fact cheating. I told her for the rest of the class she couldn’t continue with that character and that she would need to make a new one. Now here’s the problem. My collage is extremely lenient on cheating. I am only allowed to fail them on the individual assignment I caught them cheating on. That’s it. So if there are 8 assignments and I can only prove they cheated on one they can still get a B in the class even if I can tell that they cheated the entire time. I am so fed up with the cheating that I sometimes put HOURS of my personal time into tracking down what they were tracing and I found several more from this student but I couldn’t find them all so they barely skated by with like a D+. The thing is I was recently assigned to teach digital figure painting and saw that one of the assignments was to draw this cowboy which is what she submitted for her new character design after I told her she couldn’t use the samurai anymore. I reached out to the previous professor for this class and asked to see her assignment and she had just submitted her old work from this class (also traced) as her new character design assignment. If I had known she had cheated on the last two assignments I would have been able to give her the rightful big F in the class that she deserved. But now I don’t even know if she has already graduated and if it is too late. My chair does not take any of this seriously and I doubt she would have my back on any action.
