I got this 3 days ago. Day one worked fine.

Day 2 all the sudden it wouldn’t work for PlayStation only. Had to restart everything and eventually worked.

Now day 3 can’t get any audio for PS5 at all. Works fine for the normal Tv, just not PlayStation. This is on a Hisense Roku TV

Not sure if my firmware is up to date on the bar, when I go to search it on Vizio web site I get a null when I put in my serial number

Obviously this question stems from the recent movie. There are a lot of discussions about the movie some in good faith and some not.

But one of the topics that keeps interesting me is the themes of the movie and specifically how they relate to the “original” version of the story.

I’m not asking about a discussion of the movie itself but at the surface level it seems the movie makes changes that adapts the characters and themes to be that more so through a modern western lens.

My question is this: my understanding is that the earliest complete texts of the Odyssey we have are from the Byzantine empire, around the years 800-1000 CE. Modern translations of the story use these and a compilation of other sources in order to craft a modern translations.

When people talk about the “original” version of the story- regarding story beats, character arcs, themes etc. what are they actually referring to? The Byzantine version? Surely there would have been changes to the story, however little, from the time period the story is attributed to- to 2000 years later when the Byzantine complete texts were created.

Do we have any basis for how the story’s interpretation changed over the years? Or do we have a pretty good understanding of what the actual Original Greek version was?

I put this off forever but I have beaten the game probably 10 or so times over the years.

Nothing gave me too much trouble. I did restart checkpoint once on the 2nd bane fight because health was getting a little too low for comfort.

I had to shut off my PC once because while doing the Penguin cashes I grappled up to the one by Wonder Tower and got one pumped by a goon who didn’t show up in my detective vision until i reached the top.

I work in Corporate Treasury sales at a large bank and am up for a promotion.

The way promotions work at this company is you don’t really “get” promoted. They post the role internally and then tell you to go apply for it. So I don’t want to get ahead of myself but seems like a done deal.

However my issue is trying to figure out how much of a raise I can expect.

The “range” posted list a scale of 30k below and 40k above what I currently make. Any idea what I can expect?

You may know what annual raises in this field range form 1-4% so I know whatever I get this will be where I am for a bit.

Is 10% realistic to expect? How much negotiation room do I have?
