I have this guy friend for 3 years na. Last March, nag-confess siya sa akin but I rejected him because he’s not my type, and ex siya ng best friend ko lol. Girl code is very important to me, and I would never ever break it. Mas importante ang friendship namin ng best friend ko kaysa sa kaniya. Sabi ko rin sa kaniya, kahit hindi siya ex ng best friend ko, hindi ko pa rin siya papatulan because he’s simply not my type.

After that, we stayed as friends because I rejected him naman agad and I made my decision clear. Pero mid-April, nag-message siya ulit asking if sure na ba talaga ako na wala siyang chance. Duh, oo. Bakit pa kita irereject in the first place kung hindi ako sure? I already told you na I value my friendship with my best friend too much para i-risk iyon, and sinabi ko na rin na hindi kita gusto that way.

Last week, nag-message na naman siya asking kung may chance ba siya, and he wanted me to “think twice.” Hello? Third time mo na itong tinatanong, tapos ako pa ang kailangan mag-isip nang mabuti?

Dami niya pang sinabi. Na hindi niya raw ako kayang maisip na may nagugustuhang ibang lalaki because wala siyang tiwala sa ibang lalaki. So ano? May tiwala ka sa sarili mo? Sarili mo lang? Ang obsessed amp.

He also asked me if gusto ko pa raw ba siyang kausapin. I said hindi naman sa ayaw ko siyang kausap, of course gusto ko pa rin i-keep yung friendship namin because naging close rin kami. But then he said, “Hindi, pag-isipan mo nang mabuti.” So okay. Since ayaw niya sa first decision ko, pinili ko na yung second option. Sabi ko, sige, huwag na lang tayong mag-usap.

After 10 minutes, nag-message siya ulit saying he regrets everything he said. Binigyan mo ako ng choices, tapos nung pumili ako, ayaw mo rin pala. You made me choose, and when you didn’t like my first answer, I gave you the second one. Tapos ayaw mo rin?

Then two days later, nagpadala siya ng flowers sa bahay with a letter saying gusto niyang maging friends ulit. Really? After all that? Hindi naman ako galit, pero imagine pinapili mo ako tapos wala ka namang gusto sa kahit anong decision na ginagawa ko. Please, man up. Learn how to handle rejection. Hindi yung guguluhin mo yung peace of mind ng isang tao dahil lang hindi mo matanggap na rejected ka.

I didn’t reply after receiving the flowers because honestly, para saan pa? Then he messaged again and apologized, saying sana mabigyan ko raw siya ulit ng chance after everything that happened. Ang dami pa niyang sinabi, like hindi raw siya makatulog, hindi makakain, and naaalala niya raw ako sa lahat ng ginagawa niya. Tapos may pahabol pa siyang, “Alam kong hindi ko mabibigay yung peace of mind na kailangan mo.” Alam mo pala? So bakit ka pa rin nagme-message? Para sirain lalo yung peace of mind ko?

I already told him to stop messaging me because ayoko na talaga. Daig pa natin yung totoong mag-jowa na nag-break, when in reality, wala namang nangyari between us. Then he started saying things like magpapakamatay raw siya. Dahil saan? Dahil hindi ako pumayag na sirain yung peace of mind ko para sa’yo?

Dagdag mo pa ung mga reposts niya sa TikTok na pang sad boy. Na nasaktan niya raw ako. No bruh! Never. Bakit naman ako mahuhurt sayo? Napikon pwede pa hahahaha.

Alam kong makikita mo ito, so this is the last thing I’ll say. Mag-focus ka sa sarili mo. Hindi yung sasabihin mong magpapakamatay ka over this. Hindi naman tayo naging mag-jowa, and wala naman nangyari between us. Never kitang nagustuhan that way. Please think carefully about the things you say, especially kapag mabigat na yung words mo. Huwag mong gawing drama ang isang bagay na malinaw naman from the start.

At higit sa lahat, isipin mo yung mga magulang mo. They’re trying their best to give you a good life. Mag-aral ka muna.

edit : after ko sabihin na tigilan na niya mag message, dami niya pang minessage sa akin but hindi ko na pinansin dahil wala akong balak mag reply. dinelete niya rin after ilang hours.
