This illustration belongs to my horror story Thanatos.
After coming into contact with an ancient artifact, the protagonist watches his research partner slowly lose both his body and his sanity. Even after his death, the experience refuses to leave him. His nightmares become increasingly vivid, blending memory with impossible visions until he can no longer tell where one ends and the other begins.
This scene is one of those nightmares.
According to the only surviving witness, a man stumbled into the truck stop outside town covered in dirt and vomit shortly after midnight.
He appeared terrified and repeatedly claimed that someone had "put something inside him."
Most people assumed he was drunk or having some kind of breakdown.
The witness said he kept repeating the same things over and over while holding his stomach.
Several minutes later he collapsed and began vomiting.
When another costumer attempted to escort him outside, the man attacked and tore out part of his throat with his teeth.
The surviving witness described what happened next as "impossible."
When officers arrived, they found multiple bodies inside the building.
The unidentified male was never found.
What do you think was inside him?
A ghoul from my personal horror universe. I like illustrating scenes that feel like a single frame from a nightmare, leaving the viewer to imagine what happened moments before—and what comes next.
These characters are inspired by a real photo of two lions eating, being interrupted by the camera flash.
The Zam Bibi industrial district has a long and troubled history.
For generations, people living near the factories have suffered deformities caused by the contaminated water supply. Children born there are often affected the most, sometimes displaying mutations far more severe than their parents.
The official explanation is industrial pollution.
Locals don't bilieve it.
The factories have been sorrounded by strange rumors for decades. Disappearances, unexplained lights beneath the industrial complex, and stories about things that should not exist.
This creature is known as "The Crooked."
Do you think the deformities are simply the result of pollution, or is something more behind this factory?

I dreamed about this creature years ago.
It would hide behind trees or buildings, waiting for someone distracted to pass by. Then it would step out, crush them under its feet, and pull them in with its long tonge.
What name would you give it?
its head is divided into two independent halves.
each mouth is connected to a different hemisphere of the brain. With no direct connection between them, the creature must constantly communicate itself in order to coordinate movement and make decisions.
