Standard build from their stock boots, love how stiff and supportive they are. Break in is going to take a minute!
Not crazy about the laces, I’ll probably pick up a set of paracord ones when I figure out what I want.

Smooth over Roughout, love them so far!
Conditioned them heavily with bicks 4 and let them sit overnight, then a brushing with a stiff nylon brush to bring some of the nap back. Very happy with how they look and feel.

Just conditioned them for the first time in at least 10 years, still look and feel great.
Big fan of this one, it’s pretty local to me but I’ve only seen it at one store so far.
I am looking for a pair of composite toe boots, JK has the OT in my size in their 2nd's warehouse, would these likely set off a metal detector? I am going to need to pass through one to gain access to a sensitive facility every day for work and don't want to take my boots off each time. I know there are two screws in the sole, but they are brass so they may not trigger the detector. Maybe I could even replace them with a composite screw or take them out completely.
If anyone has any recommendations for a PNW composite toe boot that would be able to get me through a metal detector daily I'm open for suggestions. Thanks!
Found these Nocona Ostrich boots on eBay for a good price, couldn’t help myself.
