Just a heads up in case you did not receive an alert, a confirmed tornado is on the ground near Oakfield heading towards Batavia

Edit as of 8:18 PM, even after the main line of cells moved through the area the Storm Prediction Center just issued a new mesoscale discussion for the area:

• As storm mode has become more linear with time this evening, the damaging wind risk may increase over the next 1-2 hours across western NY. The tornado risk also will continue, particularly with line-embedded circulations.

New update:

• At 747 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Geneseo, moving east at 45 mph.

• Locations impacted include... Geneseo, Letchworth State Park, Avon, Mount Morris, Honeoye Falls, Caledonia, Lima, York, Livonia, and Covington.

• This includes Interstate 390 between exits 7 and 10.

Latest update, no longer confirmed/observed but is still radar indicated tornado warning:

• At 728 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Batavia, moving east at 40 mph.

• Locations impacted include... Batavia, Geneseo, Letchworth State Park, Le Roy, Avon, Mount Morris, Honeoye Falls, Attica, Pavilion, and Caledonia.

• This includes the following highways... Interstate 390 between exits 7 and 10. Interstate 90 near exit 48.

Edit: current update:

At 711 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Byron, or 7 miles northeast of Batavia, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Locations impacted include... Batavia, Le Roy, Byron, Churchville, Riga, Stafford, Bergen, Elba, East Bethany, and Mumford.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 47 and 48.

It really irks me using MVD on any display size as it's always capped at 60 Hz, so it's a very noticeable and even drastic difference from using visionOS and from my ProMotion MacBook Pro 16" display - do we have any idea why it is not at least 90 Hz or more? Even with the Developer Strap 2nd Generation it's still 60 Hz, very disappointing...

The macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate that Apple seeded today has a reference to Headset (N109) in the code. Bloomberg previously said N109 was a second-generation Vision Pro, while The Information said it was a cheaper version of the Vision Pro. A more affordable version of the Vision Pro was reportedly canceled last year. It has not been in prior macOS releases.
