Carbon Fiber Accents

Carbon Fiber Accents

I’ve had this shifter/cupholder carbon fiber accent for a long time now. I’d like to replace the driver, passenger and radio trims from that silver color to carbon. I’m not sure if anyone knows a source to get these parts, if they still lay around somewhere. This was like a gem find and wasn’t cheap lol but any info would be greatly appreciated! It’s for a 03 Mazda protege

Lower Control Arms

Has anyone tackled this repair on their protege?
Been thinking of changing mine out, I still have the original ones. I have a 2003 Protege ES. Curious if anyone has had good luck with aftermarket or if I should dish out the cash for OEM if it’s available. Also going to switch out Trailing Arms while I’m at it.

Don’t forget about your battery!

Still had the original battery from when I first got it as a kid, was going to check and play for a bit and got hit with this. I guess it was time for a complete play-through again anyway!

First ever fire cape, been playing since 05-06!

Took me 3 attempts and a loooong time, but finally got the cape. Always wanted it since starting and seeing all the maxed players with one. Huge milestone down, time for the next gear upgrade!

Rear brake caliper advice

Just got done changing my caliper and here’s a few tips for anyone else that’s going to tackle this.
Remember the exact order you take things on and off and do the inverse when you put it back on, if you don’t you’ll most likely have to take the e-brake cable off again or unmount the caliper. I realized that the caliper wouldn’t compress and learned that there’s a bolt to undo on the back of the caliper and an Allen key bolt to loosen to allow the caliper to compress. Raw muscle won’t do it. Otherwise solid 4/10 in difficulty!

Also, if you’re alone like me and need to bleed the brake caliper. Use a bottle with some brake fluid in it and run a tube from the bleeder to the bottle and it’ll work like a dream!

2005 Ford Ranger Gauge Cluster Search!

I've been looking for a new gauge cluster for a 2005 ford ranger 2WD v6 3.0L manual transmission, but apparently they're really hard to come by. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck finding a new one? Or any recommendations on what to do?
The current issue is that the fuel gauge doesn't work and the voltage is off, took it to a shop and they tested everything narrowing it down to the cluster being the issue. I've looked on Google and eBay, but hesitant on used clusters, but if anyone has swapped it out with a used one, did you reprogram the mileage? How did it go?
Thank you!

Doing more work on my dad’s truck and notice something bizarre, not sure how long it’s been gone. But was pretty surprised!
