Help a brotha out

First time grower. Used grain and sub from MW grow kits

LC from true blue genetics

Are these aborts or will they keep growing?

Pins happening all over but not “bulking up” like I had hoped. Have FAE patches (5) and a temp gauge on the opposite side of one patch.

Lid has had plenty of condensation - maybe too much at times? Just cracked the lid today a bit too for CO2 to escape; as I think the cake is stressed a bit?

It’s all wet and smells great - so I don’t know what the issue is. But could someone chime in? Again. First time here.

I’ve been patient with this process and don’t want to fuck it up - but I feel like I should see these bad boys growing more rapidly than they are

Thoughts? Mush love🤘🏻🍄

First grow - aborts?

First time grower.

started fruiting conditions about a week ago.
These are purple mystics from TBG.

The bigger ones seen here in the photos have been growing for the about 4 days.

I’m seeing a fuck ton of tiny little pins now all over. but not the explosive growth others talk of after a few days.

Are these aborts? 🤨🫣

The lid has plenty of condensation, and I have patches for FAE. Humidity is high, and temps have been fluctuating anywhere between 69 and 75°

There’s a diamond like pattern on the surface, which, from what I’ve read, is what it’s supposed to be like.

but, would love any advice please.

I’ve gotten this far. I’m not in a rush at all. Just want to make sure it’s on the right track and I don’t need to do anything or it’s not fucked.

Mush love. Thanks. 🍄🤘🏻

First grow Qs

I don’t know if this is what I’m supposed to be seeing.
This is my first grow. They are purple mystics from TBG and I used MW grow kits grain and substrate.

Some people have said it maybe had too much light (only ambient on and off most days) and others said now they are stalled and aborted. And others say it looks fine. 🫣🥸

It started its pins about three days ago. And the bigger ones have grown a ton and I’m seeing more little pins every day. Which I think is normal.

The surface has tiny little droplets that look like diamonds.

But I’m not sure on how long it takes to grow full-bodied fruits.

Would anyone here kindly advise?

Every sub on Reddit seems to have a different take on process and how much of this or how much of that and what constitutes a healthy grow.

I’m honestly tired of trying to read between the lines and trying to understand what things should look like or what they shouldn’t look like.

Help a first timer out please (and try to not to be a dick about it)🍄

Looking good?

First grow here.

Have been feeling good about this process. It’s been fun. These are purple mystics from TBG.

Temps where I am have been up and down; thus I think these are stalling? I am not sure. Have had ambient light approx 12 hours per day.

Lots of pins everywhere with some obviously bigger than others - lots of little fuzzy clouds here too.

Cake is plenty wet. No pooling.
Smells great too.

Should I move to a bit of a warmer temp in the house to see if they start bulking up more?

Shit yeah!

She’s a spreader… 🍄🤘🏻😂

First photo is from 4 days ago; plugged up (minus one FAE patch on the back that I covered)

Second photo is from five minutes ago after introducing FAE yesterday evening.

As many will confirm and have advised, I don’t think there was a need to wait to introduce FAE here. And likely could have done so from the jump.

Any advice here gang?

Apart from let it be and don’t over mist?🫣

First grow

Just started my first grow of purple mystics from true blue genetics. Grain as well as bulk substrate from Midwest grow kits. Mixed it all up, put a casing layer over the top, misted the entire thing.

It came with this little rinky-dink flow fan thing as well as a grow light, but I’m not using either one, as many contributors have advised it’s overkill.

My Question(s)

- Is what I have here right now enough to help get it moving to develop the right amount of mycelium on the surface?

- Or do I need to plug up my two end holes first for proper spreading and then remove once ready to begin fruiting conditions?

- - -
I only have two remaining fresh air patches for the other four holes for some stupid reason, but I can always order more or find some at a local hardware store?

I just don’t wanna fuck this up as it’s been a process since the early part of May when I inoculated my grain.

TIA everyone! 🍄🤘🏻

Send to tub for fruiting?

Hello all!

Would love some advice, this is my first grow.

Inoculated this bag first weekend of May. Have done a couple break and shakes.

Grain looks to be mostly colonized, although not re-clumping or fully white like others seem to be.

These are purple mystics if it matters.
