I hate asking them to remake it and sitting there waiting for a remake every time. I order on the app, and waiting for a remake is defeating the purpose of mobile ordering.

They used to be so good, now they are always so milky. Even my birthday one was made wrong. The final photo is what I am expecting - am I wrong?? I'm ordering a Horchata Shaken espresso, occasionally with ND CF. They are not sitting there melting, I live close to both stores.

[WIP] The Beginning of a Great Adventure - over 25% done!

Have been working on this one since the start of the new year, and I've finally hit 25%, so exciting! I am currently at 5819/22176 stitches, so actually 26.24% - it's taken me 74 hours to get this far. My Markup R-XP app estimates I will finish in September. I have mostly been working on it once a month at a meetup at my local library, but I realized I was making way slower progress than I wanted that way, so I've been trying to pick it up more when I can.

Looking for used bookstore with good classic sci fi

I am looking to rebuild my classic sci-fi collection, which I apparently lost when I moved a few years ago. I've tried two stores and no luck. I am looking specifically for the Rama books by Arthur C. Clarke and Gentry Lee, as well as Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein, but I would also love a place where they could help me pick out some other books based on these being my favorites. The Rama books are a bit expensive to buy online and I'd prefer used anyway.

[Update] Preparing for my biggest event, nervous about my inventory...

I wanted to share an update after my previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/CraftFairs/comments/1sn68sl/preparing_for_my_biggest_event_nervous_about_my/

Thanks for all the advice from everyone here! The event went well! I did make and take about as much inventory as I physically could - I took about 200 kits total, and another 150 of my smaller items. I ended up with 36 total sales of 47 items - 25 of those were the kits. There was one kit in particular that was the most popular, so I will definitely be making more in that same style for future events. As I mentioned in the previous post, my best day before this I had sold 14 items.

My booth got SO much traffic. It was so fun being at such a large event. There were times when I was making a sale every few minutes, it was so rewarding. I also had quite a few people interested in custom orders, we will see how many of them I hear from 😄

I did decide to upgrade my tent before the event and I am so glad I did. I also got new tablecloths which I am super happy with, and a new larger banner (CVS had a 60% off sale on vinyl banners!) I think all of those things really helped, and I feel like my booth looks even more polished now.

I will definitely be doing more events with this organizer. I am already working on my Christmas products because Christmas was huge for me last year online, so I want to get a jump start this year so I can sell at the bigger Christmas markets.

Does this exist? I am trying to find a portable steamer or iron for my new tablecloths, and they all appear to need to be plugged into an outlet - but I see people talking about taking these and using them at markets. Are there battery powered ones, or are y'all always getting electricity access? Or taking a converter?

My car has a power outlet, but we have to put our stuff down and then go park, so I can't use the car for this. I have plenty of large USB ports but I can't find a steamer that can run off USB. I assume this is because of the power needed to steam the water, but I'm hoping someone can help :)
