Look what I found. Is this common?

I was cleaning the entire photo dept bc apparently there’s a new policy where there can’t be any clutter or anything on the counters. I found this sheet.

UCF Maths

I’m a transfer student who just finished picking classes. Is there really no online math classes? Or any math classes that are just two days instead of Tues/Thurs/Fri? I would prefer to have my weekends available for work and such. Having to go to a Friday class severely hinders that.

How’s the healthcare?

I’m wondering how the healthcare is for students at UCF or in the surrounding Orlando area. I’m transferring from PA and I need a new primary care doctor bc my insurance requires referrals for stuff. I’ll be living in Florida after I graduate anyway so I need to start getting my healthcare arrangements switched to here.

How to find stores number?

Hello! I am leaving for college in a month and I am talking to my boss about requesting a transfer to one or two walgreens in the area of my college. How would I find their store number? I have their physical addresses but my boss told me to let him know which store numbers I was interested in transferring to.

Looking for PRIVATE apartment/housing

I just got accepted as a junior transfer student for Fall 26’ for Zoology! I’ll be coming from out of state in Pennsylvania so it’s a very far move. My boyfriend’s family lives in Florida and he lives in Rhode Island. We are looking to move in together in Orlando since it’s 2 hours away from his family and it’d be easy to split rent on a private apartment. We are looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment in the Orlando area, hoping to stay within 20 minutes of UCF and around 1700 a month or less. Any help is appreciated!

Incoming Fall 26 Transfer

Hello all! I got my acceptance letter for Zoology for Fall 2026. I’m transferring from a community college in Pennsylvania. I’m following the transfer instructions and made my account and email but for UCF it seems like the way you commit is by attending orientation. And AFTER you attend orientation then you schedule classes. This confuses me a bit because there’s seemingly no online orientation. I unfortunately am not able to fly to UCF for orientation and then fly back until the semester starts. It’s not really financially feasible for me to do that. I know there is orientation dates in August before the actual start of the semester but by that time I’m sure all my classes would be filled. Was wondering if anyone else experienced this when transferring and what you did.
I already am contacting the admissions office to see if we can figure anything out.
Thank you!

Walgreens made my injury worse. WWYD

Hey all, I’ve been working at Walgreens for a little over a year. In early May, I started having pain in the middle of my foot when walking and putting weight on it. It got worse after work and wasn’t improving, so I saw a podiatrist in mid-May. He suspected a stress fracture, put me in a walking boot, and ordered an MRI.
He also gave me a note restricting me to light-duty and sedentary work, stating that I should keep weight off the foot and sit whenever possible. I gave the note to my store manager, but for the last two weeks I’ve basically been doing my normal job. I’ve still been running register, working photo, helping in pharmacy, unloading truck, and stocking shelves which is basically all walking throughout the store.
I had my MRI four days ago, and it confirmed the stress fracture. It also showed bone bruising in my heel and the ball of my foot, probably from putting continuous weight on it at work when I’m supposed to be taking it easy. I see my podiatrist tomorrow, and I’m expecting he will most likely keep me in the boot longer and possibly restrict me from work for a week or two since work has only made it worse.
A few months ago I got an unrelated surgery and my manager gave me something called PSSL based on my average hours worked. My main question is whether this type of injury would qualify for PSSL. I can’t really afford to be out of work for two weeks without pay, especially since they didn’t follow my doctor’s restrictions and the injury appears to have worsened as a result.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Would you push the issue with management? My grandmother thinks I should be more firm because they didn’t follow my doctor’s recommendations. The only accommodation I’ve really received is that one of the SFLs let me bring a chair to the register so I could sit when there were no customers.
What would you do in my situation?

Symptoms & Twitching from Anxiety

Hey, I know I’m probably overthinking things but I figured I’d post it on here since this isn’t the actual ALS subreddit and maybe other people can offer advice on what they would do in my scenario. I apologize for the long post. It’s just gotten to the point where I’m having a breakdown over it.

I’m 19F and started a new birth control pill March 29th and in the end of April I had an atrocious panic attack. Shaking, shortness of breath, twitching, nausea. The whole 9 yards. I was up till 6am unable to sleep. I had tightness in my calf that was worrying me. Since then I was twitching non stop all over. Then I had pain in my right foot and got a referral to podiatry. He felt my foot and there was pain when he pressed a certain area of my foot so he thinks it’s a stress fracture and he sent me for an MRI which I just got a few hours ago. I suspect the birth control has been ramping up my anxiety so my doctor told me to stop taking it and I have. I stopped it about a week ago now and it’s definitely brought my anxiety down a little. The only thing scaring the hell out of my still is the persistent twitching in my right foot. That is my “currently injured foot” but i don’t know the MRI results yet. My right foot just keeps twitching persistently. Like all night, all day and only stops for a couple hours before it starts up again. I don’t like that it’s localized and persistent. I’ve had no weakness really, I can still heel and toe walk but with a little pain and weakness in that foot from what I suspect is whatever injury I may have. My right leg does look a bit skinnier than my left but there’s no clear weakness yet, I am on the second floor of my home so I’ve noticed no tripping up the stairs or getting my toes caught on everything but I know symptoms show differently for certain people. I feel like my doctors aren’t taking me seriously. They brush off a lot of things to anxiety which I understand but it’s not very reassuring. Thank you for reading this far and appreciate any advice or input.

Off Campus Housing Options

I was recently accepted to Penn State as a transfer coming from an in state CC. My bf is not in college and works full time but we plan on moving in together now that I’m finally moving out of my house with my mom. We have money saved up but I’m wondering how to figure out the housing situation. I see so many student off campus apartments but the websites imply they are for students only. Obviously we don’t mind living with other students in a bigger 2-4 bedroom apartment/house since me and him would be sharing a bedroom but I know maybe some ppl wouldn’t be comfortable living with a couple. Wondering if anyone else has gone through this experience moving in with a partner and figuring out housing.
