I am curious because as we know the existence of intersex people disproves the entire gender construct we are taught in society and the personality traits that are considered to make up the personality of men and women (strong and dependable and providing versus nurturing and kind and teaching) are just personality traits that any human could possess. What, to you, as an intersex person, whether you identify as your gender assigned at birth or anything in between, makes up a man or a woman? Curious cause I think i've reached a point in deconstructing gender in society that i can't tell any difference now.

I have lived more of my life as a child than an adult and don’t feel any different of a person at 20 than I was at 10. . . I am taught about the world as a child and then all of a sudden I turn 18 and overnight the world is completely different now and I should be too. I am ever changing and growing but I have never grown up. I don’t fit anywhere anymore because I am too old to be a child and too young to be an adult. Worst part is why does everyone wait for me to grow up still? To experience others’ perception of me causes me to think myself a tragedy. On my own, in my isolation, I am the best there ever was. Why?

I have a fraction of the collection I once did. Down-sized to just my faves. There are a few I never got that I’m interested in now. Help me to decide, is it worth it to get the regular size Lalas and easy to display them? Their wobbly heads tip over so easily even if you prop them up on a stand.

Is it easier to display the mini Lalas? I have never tried to. Most definitely cheaper to get minis what with the recent « Lala inflation ».
