So im shopping for either an M5 Comp or M8 Comp Gran Coupe. Due to the F90 M5 bowing out in MY2023 and the M8 through 2025, i'm finding more options for lower mileage M8s and with factory warranty remaining. I love both cars so it's going to come down to what is the better option.

Could any owners comment on your ownership experiences with the M8 GC? I know maintenance isn't cheap on these cars and it's not my first rodeo with performance cars or M cars. Interested more in any common issues with the cars, mechanical or electrical (interior computer) Idrive issues? The M8 was not a high volume seller so I can't find much searching but what I did see seemed pretty positive. Thanks for any feedback.

Day 1 - symptoms started, they would hit their worst on evening of day 2 into day 3
Day 2 - low grade fever 100.5, went to my internist. Test confirmed Covid. Because I’m on a biologic Tremfya (immunomodulator, not a full on immunosuppressant but still some risk), he put me on 5 day course of Paxlovid. Got dose one of Paxlovid that evening. Overnight fever was 102.2 I was sick as hell, up all night.
Day3 - fever dropped to 100.9 during the day but resumed to 102 at night. That night the fever broke around 5am leaving me soaking wet in sweat.
Day 4 - low grade fever 99.5 then back to normal 98.x
Day 5 through Day 11 plateau of symptoms. Never became symptom free nor were any antigen tests ever negative.
Day 12 - woke up notably sicker again. No fever ever came back but bad headache, congestion, hoarse, dry cough. (This was Sunday)
Day 13 - Called my internist office spoke to front office they were concerned told me to come in at 2:30p. An hour later the doctor called me told me not to come in as o might still be contagious. We did a telemedicine call which is pretty useless as he can’t listen to my lungs, check nodes, glands, look in ears- basically can’t do anything. And he didn’t offer any treatment plan other than “wait and see”

Day 14 - Today. So still positive test, still
Sick. No idea what to do or expect at this point. I’m not asking for specific medical advice, rather asking if I should be calling a specialist physician at this point? Like maybe

In usual fashion, a bad idea starts by Meatball Ron, and once it gets through the ridiculous Florida legislature you get an even bigger mess. Originally an exemption would be for police, fire and school but now it’s only for school tax. So we can look forward to less funding for police and fire depts, which means less officers on the streets, longer response times ultimately more crime. It’s hilarious to me how hypocritical Republicans are. Are they now the “defund the police party?“. Stupid.

Yeah, no big surprise. Trump lied in his weekend tweets again.

First happened on day 3 after dosing, and it's not everyday or all day. Obv It's time to call my GI doctor to report it and see what they say. Probably run some blood tests at least. This is my first time on a biologic so don't know how unusual this is. Is anyone else having similar lightheadedness/dizziness/headache off/on from taking Tremfya? My temp and BP are normal, i've checked them every time. I'm just wondering if this is because it's the higher induction dose and maybe it will resolve on it's own. Anyone had dizziness that later resolved? It's frustrating. Thx
