Big thing coming?!
So in the last and most current developer update Ben showed backup. He made an interesting announcement that the "biggest thing ever" is coming to Marvel Snap soon... I'm curious if anybody heard anything in the rumor mills of what it could be....
Looking for a camera app alternative
The iPhone 16e’s camera is a great point and click shooter. But is there any other camera app on the App Store that can shoot better photos? Any recommendations or personal experiences with other camera apps?
Public Beta iOS 27
Anyone brave enough to try the first public beta on their 16e? What did you notice?!
NXTPAPER PRO 70 UPDATE QUESTION.
hey, i looked around on here and couldn't find an actual answer. Does anybody actually know how many years or versions of OS updates this phone is supposed to get?! As a matter of fact I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere even via Google. I'm a north American customer btw ..
iPhone 11 is getting iOS 27... Nothing needs to rethink it's strategy for planned OS updates...
I love my phone (2). It's one of only two true flagships that Nothing offers. It's still a beast of the phone, very capable. But man only 3 years of software updates?
It definitely pains me to know my iPhone 11 will be able to do newer features similar to the newest iPhone. Granted of course, not as quick and snappy, but I won't feel out of the loop as an iOS user.
Nothing needs to extend OS updates to older devices. And I don't mean going forward either. I feel like they need to grant OS updates to a few older models at least one or two more versions of the OS.
The Phone (2) camera is kinda like pizza from Little Caesars....
You realize it's pretty good when you don't have a million people telling you it's shit...
I picked up the nothing phone 2 on the used market. It's not a common phone here in the US but I'm a huge OnePlus enthusiast and I was curious to try it out. It happened to be compatible with my carrier so I said why not.
I expect the performance on this phone to be really well given the chipset and how much RAM is on board. And so far it's delivered an exceptional experience. Snappy, battery, how everything is fluid, all apps work perfectly, it's a nice experience.
Of course, then came the cameras. Coming from a pixel 8 pro this is where I was let down. But with the nothing phone 2 lacked with camera abilities, it made up for in sheer raw power and performance that the pixel 8 pro just couldn't touch.
But as I use the camera more here and there, I started realizing under the right conditions this phone takes some pretty decent pictures. Yes they're not on par with my pixel, but they're not bad either. I also noticed that video recording on this was actually really good. Almost as good as my iPhone.
That being said, it's a damn shame they're only giving three major OS updates and this phone is technically on its last version of the OS. I still feel they should stretch it out for one more OS update considering it's only one of two true flagships Nothing has. I mean I look at all the problems that people are having with the other nothing phones, and I realize this phone doesn't have any of those problems. This phone's a beast. It's extremely solid.
So I know several years ago you could put your cricket chip into a locked AT&t phone and it would work completely fine. I'm looking at a Samsung that's pretty cheap on FB Marketplace- The caveat being is it's locked to AT&t. However I'm on cricket so I want to make sure before I buy it that I can still pop my chip in and use it with no problems in 2026.
