tl;dr pretty older sister saw my inc*l forum posts as an ugly guy

My older sister always was much more popular than me

growing up. She was athletic and on sports teams and had many boyfriends in high school. She always hung out with the popular guys. Meanwhile I have always been more reclusive.

Our mother had an alcoholism and drug problem when she was pregnant with me. So I have facial signs of fetal alcohol syndrome and have an uncanny appearance. I am also a little overweight. Women have always been mean to me and I'm openly laughed at in public sometimes. I asked out a few girls, all not conventionally attractive and they laughed me off.

I am on the inc*ls.is subreddit because it helps me vent my issues with people that get me. All the therapists I visited never helped me and couldn't understand my problems. Although yes I'm a bit bitter and it shows in some of my posts I think it is validated by my life.

Anyways I left my laptop open as I was checking replies on my latest forum post and went to the bathroom. My sister came in my room to tell me to take out laundry and she saw my post talking about how I am a virgin and resentful of women.

When I came back she was crying that I was an incel and a horrible person etc.. I want to repair my relationship with her. I don't want to go to therapy as they just gaslight you and I want to remain on the forum.

Watching porn is just going into a hypomanic state for 20 minutes. After you ejaculate, you get a dysphoria and feel off for a while due to elevated catecholamines and cortisol. This would be different if you had a partner, but alone you just feel sad. I've also reflected further on weed and it may be a bad cope, since it will make you overweight and an annoying hippy. Here are my top copes now as a college student.

1. Exercise - solid cope since I am 10 lbs overweight and about 25lbs about my ideal body weight. Lifting helps build muscle while cardio helps you cut easier. Aerobic exercise is also a solid cope as it reduces your anxiety over time if you do multiple hours of mid intensity eg incline walking

2. Anime - long narrative arcs draw my attention and mimic hunter gatherer reward patterns. Much smoother stimulation than porn for longer

3. Engineering class work - fulfilling Cpe major helps me cope and lets me use my high intelligence to mog my class mates

4. Coffee - Improves copes 1-3

5. Video games - I've reflected more on video games and am starting to dislike them as a cope. They keep your cortisol and catecholamines heavily elevated which will fuck up your sleep if you play in the evening. Also, you often get into a flow state where you aren't really having fun, just angrily focusing on the game and getting pissed off when things don't go your way.

Might try nofap for a bit, not because it will get you girls or anything but because chronic daily porn use (my case) may cause changes to your brain such as reduced grey matter in your reward system and increase in size of amygdala (fear center) of your brain. Also will prioritize sobriety celdom as drinking and smoking weed is arguably a net loss in almost every scenario. At best you get a one night stand you don't remember and at worse you do something that gets you beat up or put in jail

Most of the girls on my college campus have let themselves go. 160lbs+, baggy clothes, bad skin, visible body hair... It seems like only a small fraction of young women take care of their looks nowadays. Even these mid overweight girls think they are hot shit and go for in shape guys lmao

18M never dated just graduated from HS. It seems like the girls of my generation have just started letting themselves go. They eat poorly and live a sedentary lifestyle, which causes them to be overweight and have acne ridden skin. Also, lots of girls stopped shaving their body hair, really gross. Generally the unspoken rule before was that women would put effort into their looks, and men would put effort into pursuing her, treating her to dinner protecting her etc. But now, what do girls really offer. She is overweight with a beer belly and has unkempt pubic hair and bad skin. She's the prize and you will have to work hard and self improve to have sex for her once per week. You can't blame the average guy for giving up and dating and choosing to goon

Most redpillers will show off their arms to show off their roided physique to impress their male audience. They live in their own world and never give advice that applies to anyone. When I smoke weed I can get into a flow state without the inner chatter I have about self hatred. I can completely feel at ease watching anime, playing video games, watching YouTube and gooning. Although others would say it is regressive coping, if the effort to improve your life circumstances isn't worth the reward, why not lean more into hedonism?
