I FINALLY UNDERSTAND. Anthony Fantano is Bubble Bass

I refuse to elaborate, because you all know what I mean.

Does anyone else regularly have bad dreams/nightmares?

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis a couple weeks ago after a couple months of knee, jaw and back pain coupled with regular psoriasis.

Recently for the last week or so I've been waking up every 30 minutes at night because I get a sharp pain in my knees whenever I move/adjust my legs at night. I was prescribed Trazodone years ago for a different issue but it's now pretty much useless due to the pain.

I've also noticed that i've been having more bad dreams and nightmares when I am able to sleep for a decent period of time.

Does anyone else experience it? Is there any way to get it to stop?

Lifeguards should be recognized as first responders. Senate Resolution 192 (SCR 192) will formally recognize CA open water lifeguards as first responders. Support the resolution

Just got diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. Is surfing over for me

my knees have been fucked for the last couple weeks and I was diagnosed with psoriasis a good couple months ago. I went to the doctor yesterday because my psoriasis has been spreading and I mentioned my knee pain and jaw pain and she said it's due to Psoriatic Arthritis.

I've tried surfing over the past few weeks, nursing turns and purposefully wiping out when I started feeling any pain in my knees because I thought the pain was due to some other issue like fluid in my knees or bruising or something.

Psoriatic Arthritis is a degenerative and progressive condition for joints.

I'm only 30 and surfing has been my life. I'm only 30.

Alot of you guys know how active I am on r/surfing

Is this really how the hobby I've loved and cherished and almost essentially revolved my life around comes to an end?

Fuck man. Fuck.

Edit: Thanks for the support everyone. Seriously. I'm panicking because it was a recent diagnoses but all the kind words and advice really is calming me down and helping me take a breath and figure out next steps

Thank you.

The semi annual "Surf Rock and Teenagers Yelling in A Garage" suggestions thread

Every half a year or so, I head to r/surfing and ask for song recommendations for the famous "Surf Rock and Teenagers Yelling in A Garage" spotify playlist.

It garnered over 70 saves across the years and it's that time of year to ask you kooks for some more songs to add to it

Last year I set the playlist to collaborative and one of you pieces of shit kept flooding the thing with anime death metal intro music.

That's not happening again

I would prefer a variety of artists that aren't on the playlist but if you have a certified banger let's see what you got. comment down below

Tsunami Reporting Center reports an 8.2 magnitude earthquake, with the epicenter located in the south Phillipines

For reference, the 1906 Earthquake that hit San Francisco was 8.25 Magnitude

A Tsunami Advisory has been issued for Guam/CNMI

National Weather Service Tsunami Tracker says there will be "NO tsunami, NO danger to the U.S. Continental coast from this earthquake."

*differing reports between The Tsunami Warning Center and USGS. Tsunami warning center says 8.2 while USGS reports 7.8. Still a massive earthquake nontheless

Stay safe.

Is it common for men to wear wetsuits to bed just because they're afraid to "rip their junk off" if they don't?

I had an ex (42M) who told me he only ever wears his wetsuit to bed because he's afraid he'll roll over in the middle of the night and rip off his junk if it's not held in place by wetsuit. He was slightly below average in size, so it wasn't a thing about being overly endowed.

I'd never heard that before, but he insisted most guys have that concern. How common is it?

edit: yes, this is the same ex that went Goblin Mode a while back

Large Short

"Large Short" has to be the most insulting size I've ever been classified as by an article of clothing

Might as well call me "Chode Man" instead

Reckless wetsuits is so funny

I can't believe you can dissolve a wetsuit company and create a new one with the exact same logo but it's an R instead of a B

That being said September is wetsuit shopping month for me so I might buy one
