Over the years I’ve tried a bunch of different VPNs:Surfshark, Nord, Proton, NymVPN, IVPN… so far Nym has been one of the ones that stands out for security, and it’s improved a lot. The only thing is I sometimes run into a few issues on macOS.

I’ve been looking at ExpressVPN, and it seems like a pretty solid option. Just wanted to hear about your overall experience, mainly stability (does it disconnect or hang randomly?), server speeds, and that kind of stuff.

Anyone who can share their experience would be a big help before I subscribe.

NYM app reports connected, but browsers and most apps have no connectivity. Sometimes it needs several disconnect/reconnect cycles before it starts working.

Checked the terminal with some scripts, and it pointed to a DNS conflict with AdGuard’s system-level DNS protection. AdGuard and NYM both try to handle DNS, which seems to cause the intermittent failure.

Disabling AdGuard DNS protection fixed it for now. I’m also almost sure this is the cause because on iOS (where I don’t have AdGuard DNS protection enabled) the issue never occurs.

Posting in case anyone else is running into a similar issue. It might be worth NYM checking how they handle system DNS filters; this doesn’t happen with other VPNs I’ve tested.

I’ve been trying to reach Anthropic’s customer support for several days now, and it’s proving almost impossible.

Every time I open the chat, the AI agent takes the request, tells me a human agent will reply by email, and then nothing happens. This is the second time I’ve gone through the same process. I’ve waited days with no email and no follow-up whatsoever.

It’s genuinely frustrating. Given the quality of the service itself, the customer support experience feels surprisingly poor and unresponsive.

Does anyone know of a more reliable way to contact them? An email address that actually works, a form that reaches a real person, or any other method that has worked for you?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm having an issue with Spotify Web Player in Safari when using AdGuard.

I'm using AdGuard for macOS (desktop app) along with the AdGuard browser extension in both Safari and Dia Browser.

In Safari, AdGuard doesn't seem to be handling Spotify ads correctly. When an ad plays after a song finishes, Spotify gets stuck and playback stops. The player doesn't continue to the next song, and I have to refresh the page manually to get Spotify working again.

Interestingly, this doesn't happen in Dia Browser. With the same AdGuard setup, Dia successfully blocks the ads, and Spotify continues playing normally.

This makes me wonder if the issue could be related to the browser engine. Safari uses WebKit, while Dia is Chromium-based, and I'm wondering if that difference could be affecting how AdGuard handles Spotify's ads.

Suddenly all my pins, groups, and tabs closed. I tried to re-pin them, but they closed again. This happened while I was in the middle of a meeting :/.

I have a Telegram bot that pings me when something happens, but since it usually goes off at night, I always miss it.

Is there any way to make it trigger something louder, like a repeating alarm/alert or even a phone call to my number?

The bot isn't mine, so I can't touch the code.

I see the bookmark feature in Atlas, but I'm confused about how it works. Does it sync across devices, or do bookmarks just stay local on the computer where they were created?

Context: I had my account open on one computer, just logged in on a different machine, and none of my bookmarks appeared. Are they supposed to sync automatically, or do I need to export/import them manually?

Every time I leave the Mac idle for a bit and come back, Surfshark stops working. The only fix is manually disconnecting and reconnecting.

At first I thought it was because the Mac was going to sleep, but just now I watched a 20-minute local video, and when I switched back to the browser, the connection was dead again, so the Mac wasn't idle, just the network. That's when I realised it's specifically network inactivity, not the Mac itself.

Was using DAUSOS, just switched to WireGuard to see if it helps. Has anyone dealt with this?
