Do fake Fibrox’s exist?

Saw some on eBay for the high 20s listed as brand new, don’t think they’re would be any counterfeits just because they’re already inexpensive. Was hunting around for the best prices as a recent college grad, looked eBay and maybe factory seconds.

Thanks!

Grail truck acquired

New to me fully loaded 2017 XLT 3.5EB (I know, I know). Dad always had Ford truck when I was growing up, just took me a little bit to realize what I was missing out on. Traded in my 18 Silverado LT, been looking for the right F150 for awhile. Been looking within a 500mi radius of DFW, and found this gem 20 miles down the road from me with 14k original miles. Ford Blue certified it so thinking about covering it to be safe after this coverage concludes.

Evolution Auto Spa TX (Keller, Cleburne) Tint

They install Xpel and they’d give me a warranty from Xpel as well as their shop. Anyone ever hear of them? Thinking about getting my tint done by them. What could go wrong?

Thank you!

Should I return

Got this 12”, just found out about the homeandcooksales there’s one for 99 and 89, packaging damage or second quality. Curious if the seconds are bad or hardly noticeable also saw a D5 for 99 worth it to return this and go that route? I assume it’s a legit site and won’t get scammed.

Thank yall

Concerns over low mileage 17

Been looking for a 2015 to 2017 XLT or lariat. Last night I found a 2017 3.5L with 14,000 miles on it for $32,000. With it being a 10-year-old truck with that low of miles should I be concerned of anything with it barely being driven? From the looks of the Carfax, the oil was done at least once a year. So just looking for things to watch out for I was only considering a 3.5 with the 2017 due to it being the second gen.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Tojiro vs victorinox

Jumping off for my last post, and doing some more research. It seems like the go to knives are Tojiro and Vic nox. What are the differences between the two brands and overall what should the consensus be? I am assuming both brands beat Henckels and Zwilling and last a good long while. Is there a certain line of the tojiro I should look at? From what I see the Victorinox is the same blade with different handles? Also, would anyone know where I could potentially find them on sale or if they do factory seconds?

Thank you all for the help my kitchen Thanks you.

Best bang for buck knives

I just graduated from college and have a place of my own now. I want to spend the money where it counts to get good knives that I can have sometime. Now know I know, don’t buy a whole block set but I feel like piecing knives together one hurts my brain and two will be more expensive. For the moment I ordered a set of the Span made Henckels Classic, kohls had it on sale for like $230 for a 16 piece set. However I just saw Macys has a set of Zwilling twin Gourmet 15 piece on sale for about the same price. Which I understand the twins are better knives but don’t know if it’s better to get a top of the line Henckels or a lower end Zwilling. Was originally wanting to get into Victorinox but unfortunately I feel they’ll be a little too expensive to piece together. If anyone has any experience please let me know, and certainly let me know if there are better options out there (I’m sure there are). I was originally wanting to stick to the 150ish range but if the sale is worth spending a few extra bucks then may be worth it.

Thank you!

What’s this from? Cheap stainless?

Just graduated college so no more using roommates teflon pans. I use cast iron mostly but wanted to pick up some SS too. First bought this calphalon 10” (found it at Ross for $18, didn’t think I could go wrong) cooked in it for the first time yesterday and noticed a small spot, cooked again tonight and if worsened.

Also looking at getting a more expensive and bigger pan for bigger steaks and such. Was looking at a Heritage 12” for a nice pan, is there a better pan for the same price point or maybe even a better bang for buck option?

Thank yall, happy to be hear and learn

Been looking at re learning guitar and was eyeing the FG800J to casually play, my buddy just texted me he’s selling his FD01S for $60 bucks (just need to replace strings). Should I go for that or go for a new FG?

Thank you
