momcozy pregnancy pillow

Does anyone else use the momcozy pregnancy pillow upside down with the U shape under feet?

I really find the upside down way way more comfortable as I get further along. Is there a better way to use it?

Is it common not to go full term with GDM?

This is my second pregnancy with GDM. My first was 2020 and I was induced a few days before the actual due date.

This pregnancy has been different and I have a new OB. They are saying I shouldn't go past 38 weeks. This seems extremely early and odd.

Is it common not to go full term with GDM?

Anyone brining in an income while being SAHM?

I have been unemployed and a stay at home mom for 8+ years. With all that being said I've always worked. These last years have been peaceful and interesting. Super happy to be a SAHM and be here at home tending to them and things.

At any rate, I have two kids under ten and expecting another and tend to do the lions share of tending to the kids and to chores. My spouse helps out a lotre than most men. We are all home together everyday as he works from home.

Before I became pregnant I was actually applying a lot to work from home jobs and now it just doesn't make sense.

To note we do online schooling from home, which I mostly tend to. So I would need to make a WFH job work with my current life and pregnancy. Just doesn't make sense.

Do anyone of you work NOT MLM and have success with that?

NST test

Hey has it been anyone's experience doing weekly NST starting at 25 weeks?

Seems really early to be asking for NST.

Update: apparently I am not scheduled for NST but biophysical ultrasounds every week and 4 week growth ultrasounds.

Everything has been normal for this pregnancy. I do have slight hypertension numbers but those decreased..and have been in super normal range..I am 43, 238lbs BMI 35ish, first pregnancy with low TSH having to take hormone replacement to stabilize that yanky thyroid. My last pregnancy was 2020 GDM, no BP or thyroid things.

I get I am considered extremely high risk. It just feels like a normal pregnancy and having these extra tests is a good thing but also makes me think 🤔

Has anyone been pregnant and been on Levothyroxine?

I had been on Levothyroxine for an MC in 2022.

Got off of it.

Got pregnant, now I have been back on it since March. I noticed I am extremely moody and this isn't my normal thing. Pregnancy usually brings joy, crying and vomiting but not odd random right down fits, angry moods.

Life is good.

I don't know where the moods are being driven from.

Hitting week 25 and I'll have another TSH check again soon but idk if it's Levo or insulin?

First pregnancy with Levo.

Moods swings with insulin?

Has anyone ever experienced anger or mood swings?

A new increase last night and seems to be hit or miss with moods. I don't want to make a big deal out of this it just really out of character and. Odd. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Insulin - had more lows and highs.

I started insulin last week and I am wondering if anyone here has experience more lows than normal, I mean 60 or lower, with shakes or confusion...and recovering after is extremely high.

I was pretty level and maintained normal after meal numbers less than 120.

My fasting numbers were 108-116 consistently.

Now with insulin, it's more lows, like have to be eating or drinking protein constantly.

I can feel a low coming on and my face sometimes feels twitching. I usually choose protein as a recovery.

My last GDM pregnancy was in 2020 and I was there, but I didn't have so many ups and downs never felt a low and never had these really odd twitching.

Is this normal? More like 2TD, with more lows or is it this insulin. 🫠

Glucose tracking app...MySugr

Has anyone tried MySugr?

It's an application that you can download and record BS/BP/weight/meals, how you're feeling and like everything.

I have a monitor and it has app too, but this is the second GDM pregnancy and I am using it again to track everything. It's really been nice. Has anyone else used this????

Super worried I was sent to MFM for 20week antomny scan.

I am 43, 228, bmi35.7, 4th bebe. At any rate, my new OB sent me to MFM and didn't really say why. I thought something was wrong or my age. But it wasn't any of that it was solely based off my BMI. That kinda shocked me. I thought BMI was old method of weight and things. At any rate, we have so much to be greatful for and our MFM experience was great.

Anyone experiencing GDM? Looking for similar stories and recipe swaps.

Hey there, I am a GDM mom again and I am asking anyone if that's you too? I am 43, BMI 38.7 or something. I am looking for excellent recipes or food hacks or workout routines that work well with a big belly. I am currently 22w and want to try and stay away from insulin. I got tested at 18w because my previous pregnancy was GDM, was on insulin then. And I have a history of having BIG beautiful babies! Any advice or recipe/workout suggestions are so welcomed :-)

Do you have other children? Who do you depend on for extra support?

We have two adorable children and since COVID era have really lost contact with friends and had a falling out with our families. Long story.

At any rate, I am wondering who to trust with our two kids whilst we have our new blessing?

I've asked a nicece and an old friend to get feelers out there who might step in for us when we are at hospital. I've also joined Care. com, but the thought of a stranger tending to them gives me caution.

Has anyone else experienced this?
