A lot of self-hosting WoW with bots has come through my feed recently. But most of the stuff I've seen is for WotLK (including vanilla + BC). But I'm most interested in pet battles 😅 and flying around collecting all of the various pets.. And at this point in my life I don't have the bandwidth for the Online part of MMO so if I could load it up on my steam deck that'd be pretty great (ideally up to WoD (when I last played) so I can just use admin rights to add all of my pets from my real character and not have to "start over").

Is there a tool or anything (i.e. something on steamdb/protondb) that can look at my library and tell me which games are/aren't compatible with linux? I don't really play any multiplayer FPS games which I know are problematic because of the anticheat, but if there's something that simply scans my library and tells me that would be useful.

I have a 9800x3d and a 5080 -- from the random bits I've seen SteamOS may not be the best option for nvidia but bazzite could?

I normally just use FitGirl because it's safe and easy. But she doesn't have the 1.5 update for this game. According to the megathread this is safe. So I started the ~40 hour download and it's now finished (uses a hosting site that caps the speed ridiculously low if you don't have a subscription). But yeah, I'm patient, and in no rush, so I just let it do its thing and download.

The format is waaay different than what I'm used to with FG. It's literally just an iso. Which greatly confuses me. Did they repack the PC game into an iso? How do I verify the integrity of the download -- there's no checksum?

Cleaners came through and used a mixture of Castile soap and water on my brand new PG32UCDM3. It's a bit streaky now. Am I screwed or will it come off with water and microfiber cloth?

I'm curious if it's an option to mount the monitor arms on the side of the desk?
