I still have no idea why she ghosted us during her entire campaign. She didn't even come to the candidate forum. I truly believe there is a timeline where, after Mamdani had won in June, if her campaign had coordinated with Chicago DSA, working to earn our endorsement, she would have won that IL-9 primary.

I'm guessing this is a "feature" and not a bug. When you disable labels but then try to use the measure tool, it just comes up completely blank. It'll show the distance in the little bottom square, but the lines that normally show up just don't appear.

A political advocacy group I'm part of is wanting to host a little meetup in Chicago. It's mostly suburbanites/out-of-towners that aren't very familiar with the city.

Had some canvassers collecting signatures outside the Metra this morning. With Ebony Deberry running for reelection, looks like it’s a 1v1 rematch of 2024.
