Hello I am looking to trade my in box Princess Ai doll. My biggest ISOs are
• any Wydowna spider
• Living dead Dolls Beelzebub
• Kukuka Insect Cafe blindbox bjds
• all three of the garden ghouls winged creatures
but am open to other offers!
Been thinking a lot about stealing clothes from thrifted porcelain dolls for 1/4 scale dolls and I'm happy to say my first acquisition is a big success. The coat fits perfectly and the pants I took from the same doll only need to be taken in a bit at the waist and then they'll fit too. Sculpt is Goodreau Glinda.
My new girl Colin Elia Dehan from CED dolls is now the tallest doll I own, she is 19 inches of pure stunning!!! I put a couple of my other dolls alongside her just to get an clear picture of how big she is in comparison to American girl and Gene Marshall.
I recently got my ufdoll 1/3 and am planning to put her in some dark colors so I want to be safe with avoiding staining, however I'm worried that a white anti staining suit will be distractingly visible. Does the fabric need to be white or can I make one that is more tan in tone?
Hello looking to trade these three girlies with their pets for a Mona Arch Wings doll, Swirly does have some damage on her hands note that. Would prefer to do the trade through depop thank you.
Anyone flocked their dolls or know of any cute flocked hair customs? I'm working on a mini me but I wear a buzzcut, so too short for a wig.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any archives of old doll magazines? I've only been able to find Dollybird, a couple issues of Barbie Bazaar, and some more modern Madame Alexander catalogues on the internet archive.
I'm specifically looking Haute Doll, Fashion Doll quarterly, Doll Collecter, Doll Reader, or any doll company catalogues. Does any know if an archive of any of these magazines exists?
Does anyone know what's the deal with these alexanderkins (possibly wendykins I'm not the best at telling the difference) with articulation on the elbows, waist(?) and knees?
I noticed it on a listing for a quote unquote special edition mermaid and I've never noticed articulation on one of these gals before so I'm curious about when they were being produced and what makes them different from your standard kins.
All of my fully customized dolls so far! I've done a couple light customization on some dolls but these are the ones where I've given them complete makeovers.
Decided to make a custom doll of my dream skullector ms Elizabeth from Frankenhooker!
Her base doll is frankie, her skirt and top are from a g3 clawdeen skirt, and her purse is a modified bratz purse. Overall I'm very happy with the end result I think I did a great job with the g1 eyes.
Hi I'm looking for any recommendations for body donors for 16 inch dolls or 1/5 scale dolls (Gene Marshall, Tonner dolls sized).
Preferable cheap and preferrably articulated.
I've been looking around the best I can, but they seem to be in an odd in-between size that makes it harder to find properly scaled bodies.
So far the two best options I've come across are Integrity toys which has a 16 inch body, but it's far outside of my price range and then the interactive Princess Genevieve barbie doll which has molded details and I assume mechanical and/or electrical components I don't want to deal with.
Got these absolutely gorgeous girls today, they're Madame Alexander Alex Fairchild dolls (kind of a mouthful imo) which is a line I did not know even existed before yesterday!
The girl in orange is from 2001 and the girl in black is from 2004, that coupled with their scale and general look definitely makes me think theyre intended to be tonner-like. Overall I haven't been able to find much information about them but they are so stunning and nothing like what I think of when I think Madame Alexander.
