I've only seen 2 cards with the 2013 BBM "1st Version" label. The #183 and this DR07. There are 92 PSA 9s in the world for an Ohtani rookie card. If you want a rare rookie card, this is it.

It is a beautiful card in person. I own a couple along with the #183. I feel like these two 1st Versions are the must haves in an Ohtani collection for the long term.

Planning to buy more #183 soon.

The All Kings PSA 10 last sale was $42k according to CL. SSP with around 30% of production graded as PSA 10.

Is the demand for this card really because of the way it looks? Or do you think there's some funny business going on?

I'm looking to invest in 2013 rookie cards and after more research, it seems the DR07 is the most undervalued card I've found. As you probably know, the #183 PSA 10 goes for around $17k, and it has a POP of 458.

DR07 PSA 9 has a POP of 92, and goes for around $7k. I know card valuations never follow a straight line, but DR07 is also 5-6x more rare than the #183 overall, and both cards show the coveted "1st Version".

I know it takes time for the market to adjust and for certain cards to gain visibility, but it seems the sentiment is clear in the Ohtani community that 2013 rookies are the most underpriced cards out of all Ohtani cards. They are so rare.

Hi, does anyone know how this is a /4?

It's clear Ohtani's cards are the only ones worth collecting, but are we in a bubble? Or is this just the new price for collecting ultra rare cards as the world has increased in wealth dramatically over the last 10-20 years.

Anyone bought a six-figure card before?

As a collector, how do you view this year's stats for Shohei? Does it even matter that much at this point in time as long as the Dodgers are winning? Or win another ring?

Does anyone know how these cards have appreciated over the years?

There's probably like 300-400 in this set of autos I imagine less than 20% will be sold on the market, rest will be passed down generations. Something worth collecting?
