Hinge Arbitration Process

Hi All!

I reported a male in April for sending me an unsolicited sexual video via iPhone (offline). A few days later, I was banned. My only guess would be that he reported me back. I'm a very respectful person and have read over the guidelines many times, and I haven't violated any. I appealed it and was immediately denied. I felt violated, so I have sent Hinge about 10 requests to manually review it, and each time they said the decision was final. I sent them an arbitration notice 58 days ago, and plan to file for arbitration later this week. They did not respond to my notice within the 60 days allowed to respond. Does anyone have any experience going down this route? Any luck?

Where's my card?

The officer told me my card would take 7 days to arrive. It's been 8 days and it's still not here. I wouldn't be freaking out except I'm traveling on ground to Mexico shortly. How long did everyone's card take?

Fingerprints taking a while to get checked after in person interview

Had my in person interview friday at LAX and was verbally assured I'm approved and will receive my card in 7 days. My app didn't update and now it's now Sunday. I went in to ask this morning (Sunday). They said the fingerprints are taking a while to get checked!? And may take longer. any one else? I have travel coming up where I'll need the physical card (Mexico).

I'm looking for advice and also want to share my experience in case others have been through something similar.

I reported a user on Hinge for assault. Shortly after, my account was permanently banned with no explanation. I have never violated Hinge's community guidelines. I don't harass, disrespect, or mistreat anyone on the platform. I was banned off of Hinge, Upward and Match. I feel extremely violated and down about the situation. I was afraid of reporting him due to retaliation which is exactly what happened. This feels very unsafe and unfair.
