Anyone have pain here? See pic. It’s a real deep pain, not on the surface or painful to the touch

I suffer jabs of pain if I turn my wrist a certain way or grab or grip something a certain way. Nothing is painful along the thumb. Does this sound like DeQuervains? Anyone experience this? Thanks.

Starting with the spica brace but…

Even when wearing the brace I find myself moving a certain way and get shooting pain. For those who used the brace with success did you immobilize your hand further, that is, essentially NOT use that hand at all while in the brace? I make my coffee, go to the bathroom, flip on light switches, tieing my shoes, then OUCH, when I do these things, move the wrong way Sharp jolt of pain while even in the brace. Please help.

Can anyone explain this current status? Need help.

Last month I got the email saying I need to recertify for IDR and that I’ve got 90 days. Then I notice next to all my loans a payment due date of 8/8/26. That’s sooner than the 90 day recertification window. What will happen? I’m on auto payment but I don’t know payment amount. How do I interpret this 8/8/26 payment due date given I’m working on recertification? I’m so confused! Help I’m scared.

IDR recertification

Does idr recertification require a call to Mohela and talking with an agent? These four hour wait times you guys are talking about scare me.

Adult children saving for retirement

Is anybody else worried that their adult children aren’t putting money away for the future like we did? I can’t imagine what their life will be like when they’re 60 years old and they want to retire. I have mentioned the importance of saving along the way and will continue to do that. Not badger but just doing the parent thing. But I want so badly to be comfortable like I am and I fear they will struggle. Help me feel better about this! Thanks.
