Does anyone know if Breese is hosting another watch party on the field for the U.S. world cup game tomorrow?

On their website it says there’ll be a watch party in the Forward club, but nothing about field viewing. Will we be able to watch on the field again? TYIA!

New symptoms on vienva after being fine for 2 years - anyone else?

Hi all! I’ve been on the vienva pill for about 2.5 years now. I was totally fine on it for the first 2ish years, but then developed hair loss (not sure if related to the pill or not), dryness/vaginal pain, and pain during sex/bleeding that I believe is due to dryness and tissue fragility. I’m 25F, 5’10, 150 lbs if that’s relevant. I’ve been checked out at the gyno and they can’t find any other things that could be causing this.

I’m bummed. Has anyone else experienced this - being fine on the pill for years, then all of a sudden developing side effects? If so, did you switch bc methods?

Breese Stevens World Cup watch party tonight

Anyone who has been to one already this year: are we allowed to bring our own food and/or water in? Or should I plan on eating beforehand or purchasing something there? TYIA!

Getting to Canal Park from Pequaywan Lake on race day

Hi all! My husband is running the half marathon this Saturday in Duluth, and his mom and I are coming to support him. We’re staying with a friend up in Pequaywan Lake (about 45 minutes from downtown Duluth).

We will have one car for the 3 of us. Our original plan was to all drive down to Duluth that morning together, but my mother in law doesn’t want to wake up that early if she can help it (the half starts at 6am, so we’d likely be leaving around 3:30am). She suggested that my husband go alone, and we pre-book an Uber for a later time since we just want to watch him finish - but I’m worried that the Uber won’t be reliable/might end up cancelling on us since the drive is so long.

What do y’all think? Are there any public transit options/taxis that we can use for transport from the lake around 6am that morning, or should we just plan on going with my husband? Would the Uber be okay? I asked our friend in the area, but she doesn’t use Uber, so she wasn’t sure. Thank you all in advance!

Coffee shops that serve lavender lattes?

Hi all! It’s spring, and I’ve been craving an iced lavender latte from a local coffee shop. Does anyone have any recommendations? I live in west Madison, but willing to drive east/south/downtown for the best one :).

Calories in just the carnitas taco (right)?

It has carnitas, double corn tortilla, and onions/cilantro. I’m thinking 250? Only asking about the taco on the bottom right (closer to the camera).

Calories in just the tenders? They were listed as each being 1/4 lbs (1/2 lb for 2).

Fried from a food truck.

Calories in the shrimp tempura sushi roll (left) and california roll (right)? Each roll is 6 pieces

(I don’t care about the calories in the middle roll, my husband ate it).

The roll on the left is shrimp tempura, and the one on the right is california. How many calories in each roll? I’m thinking 300 for the california, 400 for the shrimp?

Hi all! I will be visiting Duluth for the first time next month for Grandma’s marathon. I’m cheering on my husband who will be running the half, and my father-in-law who is running the full. I’m very excited to visit your lovely city!

My sister in law (who will be joining us) says that she wants to reserve a parking spot in downtown Duluth in advance. From what I’m reading online, this isn’t possible. However, I figured I’d ask here since locals usually know things that google doesn’t! Is it possible to reserve a parking spot near-ish (within a mile of) the finish line in advance? Or is everything first-come, first-served? We’ll likely be arriving downtown around 6:30am on race day.

Thank you all in advance!

Hi all! I’m going to a wedding next weekend and am wondering if this dress (that I already own) is OK to wear. There is no dress code. The bride and groom are in their 60s and are actually getting remarried after divorcing about 10 years ago. The wedding will be very casual - church ceremony, then punch + cake + dancing in the church foyer afterwards. The ceremony is at 2pm. I am 25F for reference. Is this dress okay?? I will probably pair it with a short kitten heel.

TYIA!
