Why does the sister know Russian?

That's not convincing. In The Bureau the brother and sister of course knew Arabic. Edit: I know I wasn't particularly clear here, but I don't find it convincing that her brother has been some sort of deep agent for the KGB, has told her, and on her own she's gone off and learned Russian presumably to join him at some point when a CIA agent happens to show up that she can drag along with her? That plot line makes sense in the original because you have a sister who wants to join her brother in the Islamic State, but by introducing the KGB angle you've complicated things unnecessarily by making Viking a bigger deal than he was in the original. And that's reflected in the unbelievability of the sister knowing Russian and somehow being a KGB adjacent accomplice.

Airfit P10 discomfort

Just started CPAP and I'm finding that several hours into using it the cartilage between my nostrils gets sore, especially on the right (I sleep mostly on my right). I've stretched out the elastic and tried moving the straps around but haven't found a solution yet. Might different nose pillows help? I'm on a medium. Thanks for any and all advice, including a different model to try if this one's a bust...

Back on the CPAP

Years ago I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea, used a CPAP machine but didn't like it. Now my sleeping has gotten much worse and I tried everything but the obvious...a new sleep test. Since the last round there are much better home testing options and data (thank you Lofta) and better masks. A week in I feel much better and I'm sorry I didn't (re-)start it sooner. A friend said "but you're not overweight!" Yeah, that's not the only reason you might have apnea! EDIT: Lots of folks mention mouth appliances, weight loss and GLP, even increased oxygen as other things to explore. ymmv!

Arrived by FedEx today. My first work on getting citizenship started in 2022, and would have been impossible without the advice and support of everyone on here.

I'm going to be vague in case any of my colleagues are lurking on here, but this year solidified my decision to retire and to set the date. Was it the students? No; if anything, they seem to have rebounded since COVID. University finances or leadership? Those seem to be improving a bit as well. Rather, seeing my department colleagues turn on each other over things like promotion, after years of supporting each other, breaks my heart. I understand it's a stressful time, but to take it out on your coworkers... I'll let someone younger take my place and hope they can rebuild the supportive culture that once existed.
