All Credit goes to YouTuber Bobby 02 for this - Siam Kidd recently did a sales pitch in London promoting his multi million dollar hedge fund  Cryptocurrency fund- DSV Fund he highlighted the advantages of cryptocurrency  bittensor- Siam Kidd had previously been posted on fake guru numerous times - info is here - just to serve as a warning for those thinking of investing in him his pitch is heavily flawed and needs to be properly analysed and scrutinised to reveal he is a "fake guru"

Youtuber BobbyO2 Debunks the weaknesses of cryptocurrency guru Siam Kid's sales pitch in regards to bittensor the crypocurrency behind Siam Kidd's Crypto Hedgefund DSV Fund. Anyone considering to invest in this hedgdfund please take this video into consideration before investing.

Keep in Mind there is other evidence on fake the guru subreddit in regards to Siam Kidd with evidence that he could be a scammer this is not the first post regarding him. He has since closes his crypto trading course to the public and opened a cryptocurrency hedgefund which uses investor funds to buy the alt coin bittensor. Siam has been hosting pitches in London this month this recent video by YouTuber bobby02 debunks the pitch and explains why it’s a scam and shouldn’t be invested in. Before going into the details there are some allegations of Siam Kidd’s shady wrongdoings in the past:

https://www.reddit.com/r/bittensor_/s/s6Fe8K5qNZ

https://www.reddit.com/r/FakeGuru/s/nAXrk1dR6L

https://www.reddit.com/r/FakeGuru/s/gEuwJ566vX

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoScams/s/xqF32LaBgE

Alot of evidence to suggest that Siam has done manipulative stuff most notably telling his paid discord to hold dtao whilst he would quietly dump and use them as exit liquidty alot of the screenshots suggest that people got seriously hurt by his actions. Siam and Mark have evidence they are  clear manipulators who used Siam's paid group as their exit liquidty

Interestingly enough after the reddit fake guru posts were made Siam shut down his trading group and then opened a cryptocurrency hedgefund- DSV reciving millions in investment this post serves as a warning to deter people from investing.

Exposing the cryptocurrency hedgefund pitch as a fraud:

  1. Siam’s typical “overhype” "Third Great Network" Analogy
Siam compares his cryptocurrency Bittensor to TCP/IP/internet (info transfer) and Bitcoin (value transfer) as the third network enabling intelligence creation/transfer - which is just ridiculous plain and simple as Bittensor hasn’t proven anything yet or has created anything of value
This is massive hype. The presenter  Sam avoids open debate when challenged, which undermines credibility he ignored Bobby02’s permission to debate rewording it as “no interest in stepping into an ambush”  proof:
    https://x.com/SiamKidd/status/2073521829382148452?s=20

Crypto is full of similar unbacked "this changes everything" claims - Siam once again uses that Same argument that every chain tries to make that they are the the next “google” . No real evidence of revolutionary problem-solving or sustainable innovation beyond subsidized activity which has it’s issues with corruption and trust. Siam just makes a point and never brings any evidence to justify it- it’s just sleazy sales marketing.

  1. Misleading Alphabet/Google Umbrella Ownership Comparison
Siam likens holding TAO to owning Alphabet (Google) stock, where one token captures value from many successful "subsidiaries" (subnets/AI projects) under the protocol.
    Key issues with this :
No real ownership: TAO holders have no controlling stake or governance over individual subnets. Successful subnets/teams can leave, pivot, or get acquired by big tech (e.g., Google) without TAO holders benefiting meaningfully.
Subnets are independent; teams can "peace out" and take their tech/revenue. Alpha token holders in subnets may see price collapse, while TAO sees limited/no upside which has already occurred with several rugs.
Contrast with Alphabet: Google truly owns subsidiaries—executives can't just spin out freely without consequences. Bittensor lacks this centralised ownership/enforcement which Siam never addresses.
  2. Value Capture and Incentive Problems
Critique argues TAO's value capture mechanism is flawed compared to traditional equity. Subnets can generate revenue independently but aren't structurally tied to reward TAO holders proportionally in a durable way.
Many subnets are heavily subsidized via emissions; once subsidies aren't needed, teams have incentives to exit or be acquired externally. TAO/alpha holders are left "holding the bag."
  3. Broader Pitch Issues (Hype vs. Reality)
The presentation is seen as overly promotional/salesy for TAO and the ecosystem (Siam runs a Bittensor-focused hedge fund) which fits in line with a lot of the trust pilot reviews for Siam’s “The Realistic Trader” which point out to him being a sleazy salesman -
    https://uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/6951721d8ff02f193f5713d9
    https://uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/689880e454fa5a2fa932ebb5
https://uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/656a3afab4624be5a2a0f41f - one review from ex-customer Steve actually refers to him as a sleazy salesman directly.
Questions the real innovation, product-market fit, and long-term viability beyond current incentives. Subnets viewed more as subsidy farmers than sustainable businesses in the critique - a lot of them have high apys which serve to kill the subnet longterm which the inflationary pressure and sell pressure.
Overall tone of the critique: Siam's analogies sound plausible on the surface for beginners but fall apart under scrutiny regarding ownership, alignment of incentives, and enforceable value accrual to TAO holders meaning this is the same crypto ponzi as the others and the reluctance to debate is repeatedly called out as telling.

Just before we begin discussing cryptocurrency author ( of two books which gained pretty big traction) , hedgefund owner and trading guru Siam Kidd I have attached Screenshots show Siam’s ex customers on the paid discord of his company the realistic trader of customers complaining that Siam pitched them price predictions on Tao and subnet tokens on the thin liquidity ecosystem which Siam told his customers to hold whilst he exited with his own wallets showing he’s a man not to be trusted when it comes to crypto. The evidence is extensive and already posted on Reddit in several threads . Along with his price predictions for Tao as $10k by end of 2025 it’s currently sitting at $200 . Siam Kidd’s The Realistic Trader course is a scam

Paid a $750 monthly fee for Siam Kidd’s the realistic trader course on it was numerous examples of Siam buying crypto currencies on the ecosystem crypto Tao with low liquidity. He then promised his following an easy 2-3x and then proceeded to dump on his following which lead to huge outrage on his discord with factually correct accusations claiming he had encouraged people to hold whilst he dumped on his following and thus used his following as exit liquidity.

Siam had brash behaviour throughout the process on his paid discord - going harsh on members who stood up to him and complained about the service despite him charging huge money just to pump and dump low liquidity subnet tokens on his following this is emphasised by screenshots in which users complained about being his exit liquidity and stating the scheme was “making Siam rich but not us”

The screenshots are more so proof of Siam’s abrasive behaviour some of them have been posted on Reddit before but be aware that Siam Kidd is a scammer who markets himself as a legit trader only to trade and dump on his following.

One discord member is seen as being on the verge of tears due to the money he has lost, another shows that other members are simply to fearful to stand up to the guru they paid money for with one member quoted as saying “others want to speak out but they are afraid to” showing Siam’s dictatorship like control of the discord . Siam remains non chalant and never replies to the complaining customers nor the rants of the people who lost money on his own discord.

He also owns a crypto hedge fund with mark Creaser be very aware absolutely do not join therealistictrader.com

Be aware that since the previous Reddit post Siam has been getting deluded members to write Trustpilot reviews to drown the bad ones

This review above shows Siam doing the same thing using members as exit liquidity with members rushing in to get a manipulated “Siam Candle” bear in mind this was in 2022 now 4 years on the same scam is still on going. Siam operated on another cryptocurrency called Wonderland Time in which he would dump on his following repeatedly

Siam also had ridiculous price predictions for the cryptocurrency predicting in earlier YouTube videos which he used to lure his followings for high returns of course all said price predictions were not met at all and Siam never commented on them when they weren’t met but the evidence stands and on the discord many members were left holding the bag when these predictions weren’t met

https://x.com/pritensor/status/2017642117766553774?s=46 Siam stated that the end of cryptocurrency bull market Tao would reach $3000 minimum only for it to stagnate at $280 at the time of writing

https://x.com/pritensor/status/2017375317183041928?s=46 Siam Kidd predicted $3700 per Tao token only for it to never happen

https://x.com/vadimkus3/status/2013098076328853822?s=46 Siam Kidd’s price predictions of $3000 a Tao which he stated would easily happen in his YouTube videos bear in mind his followers pay $7000 dollars a month for his course

Members were left frustrated due to his price predictions not coming true and being used as exit liquidity both in trust pilot , google reviews complaining that price targets were never met and that they were told to hold while price went down

Since a similar post last month on fake guru Siam then got his followers to write 5 star reviews- ignore them he’s a scammer who can’t trade .

Please don’t be an idiot like me and join this course and give this charlatan your he’s a conman of the highest order and the screenshots are proof

Screenshots show members unhappy with how much they paid for bad trades, unhappy with Siam’s rude behaviour, unhappy with the lack of various posts on discord, claiming the discord was largely empty despite Siam charging $7000 a year for access , large amount of members losing large chunks of their protfolio under Siam’s guidance whilst Siam grows ever richer

Many complain of portfolios down by 50 percent under Siam’s guidance and advice with many ranting against his guru ship be very warned by this man he will use you for membership fees and suck you dry

Direct evidence of disgruntled customers on Reddit including screenshots on his paid discord group as evidence proof defending things I’ve said here is direct proof proving the things I’ve said are from his paid discords:
Including - past failed price predictions
One member being reduced to tears due to Siam’s advice not working for him
Many members complaining of drawdowns
Many members complaining of price predictions not being hit
Many members complaining that the discord was empty and the trades weren’t profitable
