spent 3 hours scraping data on someone then realized how easy it would be to do the same to me

was helping a friend with some OSINT stuff for a freelance project. nothing shady just wanted to see what info is out there on a potential business partner

within an hour i had their address phone number past addresses relatives names property records. all from free sources. didnt even need to use anything fancy

then i took a break and googled myself

same thing. my address my phone number my last three apartments. even my dogs name on one site. all just sitting there

kinda hit me how unbalanced this whole thing is. we learn all these techniques to find info on others but most people dont realize how exposed they are themselves

i tried opting out of some sites manually but its a joke. some make you mail a form or verify by phone. and from what ive read they just relist you after a few months anyway

feels like once your info is out there you cant ever fully pull it back

anyone here actually managed to stay off these sites long term or do you just accept it

Best DTF supplier right now

I’ve tried quite a few suppliers for dtf transfers. Some were cheap but the quality was all over the place, others were decent but slow as hell with shipping.

Now I'm ordering from dtf transfers wholesale lately and they’ve been the most reliable for me so far. Good color accuracy, strong adhesion after washing, and they actually hit their production times.

Curious what everyone else is using right now that’s working well?

There is something incredibly primal about the way a physical arrangement of scales and specialized skin can become the ultimate and heavy prehistoric anchor, a deliberate rejection of the warm blooded rush in favor of a frequency that is all about the grit of the bask and the high energy of the sudden strike, it feels like a masterclass in survival pressure where the raw and heavy resonance of a slow heartbeat and the high energy snap of a flickering tongue become a direct connection to a reality that has remained unchanged for millions of years, and even with all the high-tech terrariums and the digital nature documentaries there is still no replacement for that first and vulnerable moment of seeing the heavy and tactile reality of a lizard’s unblinking eye and realizing the heavy and ancient frequency of the desert is watching you right back

▲ 25 r/BMWX3

I just spent some time sitting in the new 2026 X3 and I’m having such a hard time deciding how I feel about it. On one hand, the drive is smoother than ever and the new tech is super fast, but I really miss having physical buttons for the AC and the classic door handles. It feels like BMW went all-in on the "minimalist" look, but some of the materials don't feel as premium as the older generations. I love the exterior lighting and the new grill, but the cabin is definitely a huge shift from what I’m used to.

I’ve been on the hunt for a versatile daily driver that doesn't break the bank, and I keep coming back to the Seiko 5 Sport line (specifically the SRPD series). There is just something about that dive-style look that works with a t-shirt but doesn't look out of place with a button-down.

For under $300, the build quality feels solid, and I love that it’s an automatic movement. That being said, the "oriental" style of the Orient Kamasu is also calling my name because of that sapphire crystal. It feels like such a steal for the price point.

I’m curious to hear from the group, if you could only keep one watch under $500 for the rest of the year, what are you picking?

looking for slow burns where the relationship development is so well written that you can actually feel the turning point, like there’s a specific scene or interaction where everything changes even if nothing “big” happens

not insta love, not dragged out for no reason, just really solid build up with payoff

open to any tropes or subgenres as long as the emotional progression feels earned

what books did this best for you?
