Hey there - I'm a software engineer who lives in Highland Park and I've been working for a couple weeks on a live music calendar that aggregates event data for about a dozen venues, most of which are near HLP like The Lodge Room, The Echo, The Airliner, Sid The Cat etc. It updates weekly and looks 4 weeks ahead.

Progress photos from earlier this year. I went through a depression in 2025 because I lost my home in the Jan 2025 LA wildfires. I started anti depressants that helped a lot with mood but really increased my appetite and I gained weight quickly.

The first two pics are of me in Dec 2025, and the last two pics are of me in April/May of this year. I dropped from 206 to 176 earlier this year and Reta made it effortless. Now I'm on a low dose for maintenance and am happy to stay there.
