29F - GMT+4 - looking for my reading buddy

Hello! I’m almost finished with Bookstore Girls by Kei Aono and I’m hoping to find someone to read my next book with.

I’m currently choosing between:
My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante
Almond by Sohn Won-pyung
Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982 by Cho Nam-joo

I really love Asian literature and fiction in general, so I’m also very open to recommendations if there’s something you’ve been wanting to read.
I’d love something relaxed where we can check in, share thoughts, and keep each other motivated as we go :)

29F - GMT+4 - Reading Buddy

Hi! I’m looking for a reading buddy for one of the books on my current list:

  1. My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante
  2. The Vegetarian by Han Kang
  3. Almond by Sohn Won-pyung
  4. Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982 by Cho Nam-joo
  5. Shoko’s Smile by Choi Eun-young

I’d love to pick one together, agree on a comfortable pace, and check in every so often to share thoughts and keep each other motivated.

I’ve had a few buddy read attempts fizzle out before, so I’d really appreciate hearing from people who are genuinely interested in following through.

If any of these are on your list too, let me know which one you’d want to start with :)

Anyone read My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante?

Would anyone be interested in a buddy read of My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante?

I’ve had My Brilliant Friend on my to-read list for a while, and I think it’s finally time to start it.

I picked up the HBO series and it honestly stayed with me for a long time. I loved how intense, emotional, and complicated Elena and Lila’s friendship was, so I really want to experience the story through the books now.

Genre: Literary fiction, coming-of-age, historical fiction

The story follows Elena and Lila, two girls growing up in 1950s Naples, and their friendship as they deal with family, school, jealousy, ambition, class, love, and everything that comes with growing up.

Would anyone be interested in reading it together? We could keep it really relaxed, agree on a few chapters at a time, and just check in to share thoughts, reactions, favorite moments, or theories.

Anyone in?

Therapy

Hi girls, I’m not gonna take too much of your time. I just want to know if you have any recommendations for a good online therapy places or websites?
I’m kind of going through a pretty rough depression phase and I know that I need help and everyone keeps telling me so I’m trying to take the first step.

I thought of using like betterhelp but not being able to see through the list of practitioners made it awkward for me to go past it.
I appreciate it and if u wanna dm me instead of commenting pls feel free to.

Thanks

28F/PC/Looking for people to play Diablo 4 with

Hiii ♡ I’ve finished the story expansions and I’m currently enjoying the Barbarian class. I’m looking for chill people to run dungeons, farm gear, and do seasonal content with.

I usually play around 9 PM GMT+4. I’d really appreciate finding someone consistent to game with and hopefully build an actual friendship too. If you’re 21+, message me with your age, timezone, and what class you play ♡
