Initially I was about to buy Macbook air m5 24gb +1tb @₹134900 but due to price hike it's not feasible for me so I need a laptop which will work flowless for me for the following usecase:

1. Video editing in Davinci resolve (free version)

2. Manim rendering

3. Computational physics - for coding big programs

4. General purpose usecase - browsing and all

5. Decent battery life for college movement

I can easily spent ₹1.30 lac

I was initially buying a macbook air m5 but due to price increase its a nightmare for me in terms of money.

So I need suggestions for windows and Linux compatible laptops for the following usecase

- Video editing in Davinci resolve with basic usage of motion vfx packs

- Heavy coding for computational physics

- Manim library rendering (use multi core cpu)

- Web browser with 15-25tabs open all the time

- Brave browser

- Libre Wolf

Rest is the basic study work.

And since I have to go to college (an IIT) so I need a battery backup too as I can carry charger all the time.

• Apart from basic clothing and a laptop and working Brain what else i must carry to the college while coming from the home.
  • List down some very essential thing to bring.
  • If possible list things easily available within the campus.

Could anyone tell me how one can find

As we know the Back to School is on the edge along with the news of price hike as per TIM, initially I was waiting for this BTS with specs of M5 24GB, 512GB and it is costing at ₹1,28,990 and with bts I can get free airpods(which I genuinely don't care as I m not an apple paglu) I was waiting for this only as I was getting airpods considering it and overall better deal.

But now I am getting the M5, 24GB and 1TB storage at a price of ₹1,34,000 from a local store in my place(I already purchased an iphone 17 from there).

If anyone can suggest pls tell me should I go for local shop to buy it. Or not ?

As I asked one of my tech enthusiast friend and ye warned me about the scams nowadays are there.

Like my major steps for upcoming path is to do PhD from abroad in computational physics majorly. Also how is the research environment within IIT dhanbad w.r.t. physics.
