Very Spiky boi for a very spiky fruit!
Mello may look intimidating but he's actually very sweet. Get past his harsh and defensive nature and you will find no better companion!

The Mountain Stirs: Shiver Awakens
Hurried talons scratch on stone, their echoes bounce off walls that head deep into the earth. A large dragon rushes down a corridor, alone…
​
*A scream calls out…*
*CRUNCH*
​
The sickening sound of munching and drips grow as the heartbeat in the dragon's chest finds a steady rhythm, accelerated ever faster.
​
The dragon arrives at a small outcropping in the wall, it leads in a different direction, a fork in the path.
​
“No no… no no no.. why? It was meant to be a straight shot!!”
​
*CRUNCH*
​
Another sound crawls its way up the dragon's spine.
​
He considers for a moment to stand his ground, turn and face the horror that claimed his mate just moments before.
​
“Don't be stupid, what even was that? Seawings don't get that big… do they?”
​
*CRUNCH*
​
He clears his eyes of sweat and dust. Blinking a few moments, every time he does, the face of his best friend, flash in his mind. Her expression of joy and love to be with him, turned into shock just moments later as a maw seemingly formed from shadow SNAPS down on her neck.
​
She gets out only
​
“Ash hel..”
​
Before she is pulled into the darkness now surrounding her.
​
​
The vision recedes as he steadys his mind, trying to focus.
​
“I'm sorry Tat…. I couldn't… I…I”
​
A sound cuts him off
​
*ROOOOAAAAAR*
​
He snaps back, his heart threatening to collapse at any moment.
​
Ash ignores the new path and continues straight ahead.
​
“I need out, how do I get out…”
​
All was quiet besides his movements and the ever present thumping in his ears. The tunnel grows smaller, panic starts to set in as Ash realizes he can't go much further.
​
“No… I have to turn around..”
​
The dragon turns on his feet and freezes..
​
A figure occupies the end of the hall, its bulk seemingly incapable of fitting in a place like this but it moves freely regardless. What look like large wings brush the ceiling, as its tail thwacks against the walls. Whatever this thing was, it's excited.
​
“Please… please don't hurt me.. I just wanna go home..” Ash begins to cry.
​
*”Ha…. huhh…..haaaaagggghhhh”*
​
A nasty sound escapes from the figure's form. Seemingly trying to mimic a laugh?
​
The dragon holds his head down to the ground, he shrinks, hoping to hide in place. He backs up until his rear makes contact with the cold wall.
​
*Thump…*
​
The figure moves, it seems in pain yet continues to make that horrific noise.
​
*“Huuu…hunnnn….”*
​
*Scratch* *Thump*
​
*“hunggggg….. HUNGRY….”*
​
Its voice strained, as if it hasn't tried to speak for 100 years. The form seems to shrink some, taking a more draconic form. Its head more closely resembles a Nightwing now.
​
“I….uggg… need fff…”
​
Ash stops and looks up at the nightmare partially manifested before him.
​
“Food? I can get you food, please just let me live and I'll bring you everything you can eat!”
​
The creature's head finally finishes forming from the shadow that birthed it. Its wings begin to unfurl and show the underside covered in light producing scales. Hundreds of them concentrated fully under its wings.
​
“I….. Neeeeeed… FEAR”
​
In a flash of blinding light Ash lost all sight, his eyes burned and his mind went blank. Though unable to move any part of his body he could still feel. The cold stone warming from the urine now pooling beneath him, the enclosed walls trapping him in, the fear breaching the surface of his soul.
​
“Thank… you.. for… helping me…”
​
Ash took a sharp breath as his heart finally stopped its incessant beating…
​
*CRUNCH*
​

Legends tell of the embodiment of fear being betrayed by it's spawn, locked below the mountain on the coast, and left to starve forever.
​
This short piece is for a OC of mine named Shiver, she is a Night/Sea hybrid. Her character is meant to be a very evil force in the world, one that prioritizes control, fear, and manipulation.
​
I have so much planned for her, some more writing and art as well! Please let me know what you think.

Meet Paradise
A Draw To Adopt offered from u/emrythecarrot. Thank you again friend it was a great project to work on!!!
Her name is Paradise, a Rain/Sea hybrid. She enjoys spending time in the deep caverns of the world, discovering the wildlife that can be found there. She loves to mimic the colors of the fish and plants she finds!
I tried to do something with lighting to make the bioluminescence of the plants and her scales pop but I couldn't really figure it out, more practice for sure!

Gaea Queen of the Forest
I definitely didn't forget to post this here..... *Cough *Cough
This is Gaea, a kind, thoughtful, and motherly dragon who loves herbology and cultivating rare crops. Pampas, her partner and Buffalo adopted son help her run a small shop selling herbs and plants to all sorts of dragons.

Meet Pampas
Pampas was always an odd one, their childhood was spent trying to fit in and adapt to others. Born with a rare mutation that covered their body in a thick fur, Pampas stood out amongst the other dragonets and was treated differently for it. Some believed them to be cursed, others saw this mutation as a blessing and even beautiful, but none saw Pampas for who they truly were, their interests, hobbies, all looked passed and even ignored, until Gaea. A very large and odd one herself, Gaea ran into Pampas while searching for exotic herbs. She never pointed out their fur, questioning it, or even admiring it like they had come to expect from everyone they interact with. Instead Gaea asked if they enjoyed botany and offered to teach them some things. Pampas, who always loved plants and the circle of life, accepted. Together, they search for rare herbs, cultivate, and sell them to others in hopes of growing the world.
