Like I need help and doctors won’t help or can’t help I guess. I have a babalawo and I like him he’s cool and I trust him but I’m scared to move forward with services. I feel like I’m asking for too much. I’m just worried idk. I just want my health back and life back.

I don’t think I’m strong enough for this shit. It gets to a point. This is too much.

I was on spironolactone for 4 months 50 mgs. I stopped it the beginning of July. Since then I have experienced weight gain and now my period is late. I called my dermatologist and told them about my symptoms. They said that there’s zero possibility that it’s in connection to me stopping spironolactone, but I don’t think that’s true. I don’t have irregular periods and my period was pretty much normal while on it. I got my period at the beginning of last month but I haven’t gotten it for this month. I’m experiencing all the symptoms of being on my period without the actual period. And the weight gain doesn’t make any sense because I eat healthy, my appetite hasn’t changed and I’m active. I don’t think my dermatologist is being honest with me so I thought I’d post this here to get advice or answers. I never had this happen before and it’s stressing me out.

I keep getting emails from them saying they’ve removed one of my pins because it violates their guidelines on self-injury and harmful behavior. And I’m thinking to myself… self-injury and harmful behavior?? Tf are they talking about 😭 my pins are mostly fashion related stuff. I’ve never even seen that type of stuff on pinterest before. I’m so confused.

I ask because I’m starting to think it might be something else. None of the ointments from the dermatologist helped. They often made the situation worse, and it didn’t get any better until I stopped using the creams and stopped using lotions that are marketed towards people with eczema. It’s only on my hands. It appeared randomly about two years ago. Some of the bumps don’t act like eczema either. I have a big lump on my finger that formed a few months ago. I thought it would go away, but it’s been there for months now. Usually, the bumps are supposed to come and go, but some of these bumps came and never went away. I’m wondering if it’s something else. I feel like the dermatologist's baseline train of thought was to say it’s eczema, but I’m starting to feel like it’s not eczema. I don’t have a history of eczema either, so I’m really confused about what’s going on.

Also, I’m afraid to challenge my dermatologist on this. She seems really headstrong on it being eczema.

This just dawned on me, and it literally felt like my heart fell through my chest when I had the thought, because I actually don’t remember what it smells like anymore. And that’s so crazy because I’ve used garlic powder, garlic cloves, and garlic in the jar my entire life. What actually is this disease? 😭 Like, this is beyond me right now. I feel like I'm starting to lose my mind.

I used to loveeeee black girl sunscreen but I believe it’s one of the reasons why my skin is super oily and keeps breaking out. I didn’t make the connection until my aesthetician said “Something you’re using is making your skin oily and clogging your pores” Long story short, I’ve been trying to find a good inexpensive sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast and that feels lightweight, but I haven’t had any luck finding one. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations ? I have combination acne prone skin.

This is worse than my 14 pm lol. Is this happening to anyone else?
