This is a brand new ARF 126710 that was originally a bruce wayne. I've modded it with an original CLEAN FACTORY sprite bezel. Yes, CF that is now gone and parts like this aren't around anymore. I bought the bezel insert from CTime years ago and never used it, it cost me £200+ originally. The insert is gen spec and has platinum inlayed engraved numbers around the bezel and looks just like gen.

Lots of nice gen spec parts here, running on a VR 3135, feels lovely to wind and operate, so much nicer than the common 2824 builds you see everywhere. The Italian bracelet feels amazing with gorgeous finishing and the gen spec spring bars hold it all together nicely. This is a solid build that’s ready to rock and be loved. This is also has my custom 1680 caseback sticker on the back to complete the look.

I know this an old school GS when they used to have Seiko as the top line brand on their dials but the finishing is incredible and for $800 I'm stunned. 8J quartz movement is robust, accurate, and looks nice if you take the caseback off.

Awesome VSF date just here, needs no introduction. Amazing condition, only worn a few times. I bought it but have too many watches and need to let some go.

The Mochacha Viet matte dial is the star here, the colour of the patina matches the viet hands beautifully. I was aiming for a clean, well-balanced vintage look rather than trying to over-age everything. I'm really happy with how it's turned out.

The movement is running well, GMT and date functions work as they should. Bracelet has been cleaned and lubricated so it feels much nicer than a stock Raffles.

I've bought a gen gold bezel ring to fit on my OC 16753 but sadly the OC retaining ring is too small for it to snap on. I'm going to order a genuine bezel retaining ring. Does anyone know if this case will actually fit one? Thanks

I’m so pleased with how this ones come out. I almost kept it for myself but i’ve bought too many parts recently and need to move some watches on and there’s no doubt i’ll be making a similar one of these in the future to keep. Condition is like new for case and bracelet. The gen dial is perfect and the only thing to speak of is a tiny scuff on the crystal at the 6 o clock position. All in all the watch is looking extremely clean!

The gen crystal originally had a chipped cyclops so I’ve installed a new aftermarket one that looks close to gen. The crystal has a small scuff at the 6 o clock position but it’s hard to notice when on wrist. Apart from that the condition of the case and bracelet is new and the dial is in perfect condition. The hands match the dial nicely and they’ve been polished so they play with the light beautifully.

The VR3135, running strong. I’ve regulated it and can show the buyer timegrapher pics.

The Italian bracelet is lovely and has a raffles clasp with the rolex coronet. The tuns hand made suede strap looks amazing on this one. The rep rolex caseback sticker completes the look.

I’m selling my personal 16610 franken. This one is a bit special, as the genuine tritium dial, hands and insert all came from the same gen watch, so they match really nicely. I’m selling as I have another franken 16610 and can’t keep both.

One thing to note is that the dial has some wear, with part of the minute track worn away between 3 and 8 o’clock. I’ve always quite liked it, as it gives the watch some genuine vintage character. It’s also not something I really notice when wearing it, but I’ve tried to show it clearly in the photos. I’ve installed a viet bezel assembly I bought from Happy Cat which is very nice to use and I make my own bezel click springs which are like gen. The action is great.

I had the VS3135 movement serviced by Under the Dial (AKA Steve) a rep watch maker in the UK and he did an amazing job and it’s running beautifully. I completely refinished the bracelet and softened the edges and it’s bloody beautiful on my wrist. It looks and feels fantastic, and I’ll be sorry to see it go.

For sale is a vintage Datejust 16014 franken that’s looking very handsome. I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out. I almost kept it for myself, but I’ve bought far too many parts recently and need to move a few watches on. There’s no doubt I’ll be building a similar one in the future to keep.

With the polished rehaut, genuine crystal, date disc and dial, this watch looks very striking. The genuine crystal originally had a chipped cyclops, so I’ve installed a new aftermarket one that looks very close to genuine. The crystal has a small scuff at the 6 o’clock position, but it’s difficult to notice on the wrist. Aside from that, the case and bracelet are in new condition, and the dial is perfect. The hands match the dial nicely and have been polished, so they catch and play with the light beautifully.

The movement is a fresh VR3135 and is running strongly. I’ve regulated it and can provide timegrapher photos to the buyer.

The Italian bracelet needs little introduction. It’s about as close as you can get to genuine without spending genuine money. The genuine-spec spring bars hold the end links tightly against the case, with no play or rattle. The watch feels extremely solid.

I’ve just realised that one of the photos shows the sterile clasp the bracelet originally came with. Since taking that photo, I’ve fitted a Raffles clasp with the Rolex logo stamped into it.

The Tuns handmade suede strap also looks fantastic on this watch, and the replica Rolex caseback sticker completes the overall presentation.

I’m an active builder here on Reddit with a number of completed sales, and I’m sure others will be happy to vouch for me in the comments.

I love this old crowns blue insert. Is this how dark the blueberry inserts began?

Id love to age it, bleach isn't getting me the results I want. Has anyone else got a good method to get this thing perfect?
