Any advice on painting this grim dark style? I am very overwhelmed with the different textures and trims and not which colors to use. Any references and/or recommendations would be awesome!!!

I got a bunch of traitor guard last week and am excited to join them with my Word Bearers. I saw this guy post his Blood Pact on Insta and was wondering how would yall recommend going about painting these bad boys? Primer recs?
