Spider-Man never disappoints. My friends did 😭

Came back to the hostel after watching Spiderman. My two friends knew absolutely nothing about Spiderman but came along just for the vibes. And somehow managed to make us 30 minutes late 😭

So yeah, the experience was kind of mid because we missed the beginning. Otherwise Spider-Man never disappoints🕷🫶

At least the walk back to the hostel gave me this view❤️

It's me and my ability to sleep through literally anything

My pre-university exams start in 3 days and I've barely studied, so I was pretty stressed last night.

I talked to my mom around 9 pm and she said I looked really distressed. She kept telling me not to overthink things and to take care of myself 😭 She definitely escalated things more than I would've, but she was genuinely worried.

I studied till around 3 am and then crashed.

I have my classes at 9 am daily and every morning my mom wakes me up with a phone call because she already knows phone alarms are useless against me.

But today at 7:55 am, I woke up only because my friend was aggressively knocking on my hostel door. I opened it and she just handed me her phone— "It's your mother."

Turns out she'd been calling me nonstop. When I didn't answer, she called my friend to check.

The first thing she asked was if I was okay, then said, "Jyada tabiyat kharab lag rhi ho to m aa jaungi kl. Preshan mat ho."

I felt so bad because she was genuinely worried while I was just sleeping like the dead. I apologized and told her I somehow didn't hear a single call or even my alarms.

After hanging up, I picked up my own phone to see how many calls I'd actually missed.

21 missed calls. 5 WhatsApp voice calls 😭🩷

Atp I'm convinced I'd sleep through an earthquake🥲

TL;DR: My mom thought I was having a breakdown before exams. Turns out I just sleep like the dead that I missed 21 calls and 5 WhatsApp voice calls 😭 so she ended up calling my friend to wake me up.

Guess I'm dehydrated now

Went to fill my water bottle and found this gentleman casually checking out our hostel water cooler today😭 Idk if I'd be able to convince myself to drink from it after this. Safe to say I'm reconsidering my hydration choices🙂

Hostel authorities ki ***. This monkey has been roaming around the hostel for over a month and they've done nothing about it.

To complete 125 words. Pyramidal decussation cuts off the anterior horn which forms nucleus of 1st cervical nerve and nucleus of spinal accessory nerve.

Nucleus gracilis and nucleus cuneatus are equivalent of the nuclei in the posterior horn of spinal cord.

At the lower section of pons, fibres of cochlear nuclei

form trapezoid body which forms lateral lemniscus.

Nuclei of VI, VII and VIII cranial nerves are present here.

When he revealed his real voice

His acting was great. Even tho I didn't laugh much during the set, u can easily see the talent and quality in him. He has got great potential in cinema, the voice switch alone was impressive

Attachment issues or something else?

So there’s this girl in my college who got kinda close to one tutor because he helped her through a rough phase (mental stress, surgeries which happened some 8 months ago, depression, loneliness etc). She once cried during his viva and after that he started checking in on her, trying to console her, so they got somewhat close. She used to see him as some mentor/brother figure apparently.

Fast forward one month— it was her bday, and she planned to take this tutor + 1-2 others to a cafe as a treat, especially for him. Sir agreed initially.

Then next day he apparently started an argument just to avoid going?? Said stuff like “students think I favor you”, “you misuse me”, and even “kabhi socha problem tum me ho isliye log tumse baat nahi karte?” 💀

Girl cried BAD. She even contacted tutor B (friend of this sir) requesting him to make sir talk to her because she was crying a lot. Idk exactly what happened in between since I don’t think our group knows the full story 🥹 but at some point sir apparently said something like, “don’t call me again or I’ll block you,” and “if you need to talk to me regarding academics, come to my office I’ll only talk in front of HOD mam.”

Tutor B later said sir had family issues and was in a bad mood so don’t mind him.

NOW THE PLOT TWIST 😭 yesterday she went shopping, bought him a perfume and a mug, wrapped the gifts herself hoping things might get better. Today she tried giving them to him. Sir said he was “in his room checking answer sheets” while she could literally SEE HIM sitting in his car from afar.

Then she texted again and he replied like “you’re my student, I don’t take gifts from juniors, and don’t repeat those things again, it’s a request.”

Apparently by “those things” he meant crying. Because right after that argument earlier on her birthday, she'd cried badly in front of him.

Bhyii ye kya trauma bonding chal rhi h 😭

Also when I tried consoling her saying don’t cry so much over him, she got upset and said “you don’t know how it feels when someone close says hurtful things.”

Now I’m genuinely confused 😭 Can someone really get this emotionally attached to someone they’ve known for around a month, platonically? Is this attachment issues, mentor attachment, emotional dependency, or am I just emotionally unavailable and not getting it 💀

Ps: from outside it also feels like maybe sir realized boundaries were getting blurry and tried to distance himself. Idk if he handled it badly or if this whole thing got emotionally too deep from her side.

How screwed am I?

We’re 6 people sharing an anatomy bone set and today I accidentally dropped the femur… it literally broke into two pieces 😭
