Scariest flight in my life
Guys, today I pulled my new Droneer X501 out of the box and prepped it for flight.
It’s a beast, pretty smooth, jello if your batts not balanced right, I use ELRS at a 250 packet rate at 1Watt.
I am a licensed pilot in “G” airspace, and flying over some homes, cars, and structures.
The first three flights, great range, minimal
Latency, but on the fourth flight, I widened a bit and my DJI O4 pro did hit as low as 41 Mbps. Then back to 60, THEN MY SCREEN FROZE COMPLETELY, IM
TALKING LIKE A PHOTOGRAPH OF MY LAST IMAGE. No yellow bar or red bar, the frozen pic had 60 Mbps
I didn’t know what to do, I’m hearing kids in the background my heart is literally thumping.
What seemed like an eternity, probably three or four seconds, all Of a sudden the picture Pixilated back and I was a hundred fifty feet in the air higher (when it went out I was freaking but I just held sticks pretty steady with a little bit of throttle.
I have about fifteen drones with the DJI O4 pro, this has NEVER happened before and truthfully, I never want it to happen again.
Has anybody else ever gone through this ‘frozen’ latency? When I pulled this out of the box I upgraded to 7 from 6 on the VTX.

Such a great little setup. Keeping the weight down with a little 6S 1050 mah bat. Osmo cam is light, upgraded the props to Master Airscrew and upgraded the SMA antenna as well.
This shiznit flipping rocks!

The UNK BOB46!!!
IFlight and 2Raw are definitely having fun but with a few quick upgrades, it flies like a dream.
- These Gemfans have a pitch of 3 degrees, I put some Master Airscrew 4.5’s and it flies like butter, even in a little bit of wind.
- They give the short version of the IFlight Antenna. As we all know, that’s solid but when you upgrade it to the best LHCP we know of, thus far, my range is definitely better.
It’s by accident on the color uniformity because the two upgrades are white on black that really makes it pop.
One of my boys said it looks like a big dragon fly in the sky, I’ll take it!❤️
