AC Odyssey on G3 Extreme

What are the odds intel improve AC Odyssey on the G3 Extreme?

Performance is terrible - It's unplayable to me imo. It's so stuttery and FPS is terrible. Doesn't seem to matter how much I drop settings or resolutions it's like it has minimal impact as if it's hitting a wall. I've also tried DXVK but the game won't boot with it added - if only it'd boot I think this would help a fair bit.

Performs much better on Steam Deck which is just silly.

OXP3 Speaker EQ settings for Equalizer APO

For future reference to those receiving their devices and not being happy with the speakers / audio - here's my current Equalizer APO EQ config file setup. I feel like someone smarter could tune this better, I'm no good with EQ but it sounds a fair bit better than stock to my ears. Tried to improve clarity, remove the muddy underwater vibes as much as possible and boost the bass. Hope it helps 🤘

Ubisoft launcher via Lutris / NSL broken

Had no issues about a year ago setting up the Ubi launcher with my Steam Deck and downloading + playing games. Not been on my Deck a few months, but going back to it then Ubi launcher just won't open up anymore. If I run in desktop mode it just shows it running but nothing appears, and I have to force close in steam.

I had this exact issue on a new SteamOS PC build last week , wasted hours on it, ended up using Bottles after debugging it seemed related to Chromium somehow. It's clearly a consistent issue at this point, now exhibiting identical behaviour across 2 completely different hardware configs on SteamOS.

Is this a known issue with newer SteamOS builds? Why can't I find many people talking about it?

Ubisoft Connect never opens - tried EVERYTHING!

HELP!

I had no issues on my Steam Deck getting Ubisoft Connect loading my Ubisoft games on the system 1-2 years ago and still to this day. But I've recently build a living room SteamOS box, I'm on the latest SteamOS beta branch.

I've tried absolutely every non-steam launcher tool I can find - NSL, Lutris, Heroic, Faugus etc. First I used NSL Decky Loader plugin, and launched it from inside game mode - nothing. I thought desktop mode would solve it, but boy was I wrong.

I've tried Decky + Desktop versions of NSL. Then gone through all the tools mentioned. All exhibit the exact same behaviour, Ubisoft Connect just simply doesn't open. Rockstar Launcher is the same. EA App and Epic are fine. I never see anything, some apps it tries to launch then automatically stops, but others I have to use the 'stop' or 'kill process' functions within them because it just sits there acting as if it's launched when it hasn't. I'm running via a TV but no second monitor, checked alt tab style list to see if it's buried somewhere but no.

Not sure if something has gotten stuck from NSL originally and now they're all tripping up as a result? Or if that's even possible.

TL;DR - Ubisoft Connect shows nothing via every tool I've tried. No login screen. Nothing. Please help.

Edit - I FIXED IT! I installed both Chrome & Chromium and it appears now. Steam Store isn't working now as a result ...but I'll fix that separately.

What did I do wrong? Hispeedido GBC OLED mod extremely blue

What's happened here? Just modded this green GBC and the panel is incredibly blue. Every colour mode doesn't match one I've modded previously (the transparent purple). Is it a faulty panel or did I screw up somehow?

EDIT - crisis averted!! Turns out I didn't seat the ribbon cable properly and right clamp was slightly loose. Just removed it, reseated, closed clamps properly and now it looks great. Phew. Leaving up for anyone else silly like me.

Osmo Nano first time use - dock says no files on internal storage when reviewing

Just got the Osmo Nano and recorded a bunch of footage and a few photos. Went to review in the dock and it says no files on the internal storage? However when I go into storage on the dock I can see there are files there because the storage has been used somewhat.

Just checked on the DJI Mimo app and I can view them all there.

What's going on? How do I fix?

My RG DS is partially glossy partially matte

They obviously didn't apply the paint correctly in production. Flawed...but also unique I guess?

Currently awaiting a response from Anbernic as it also has scuffs / damage out the box on 2 separate corners of the black portion (nothing on the red so it's impossible for me to have ever done and must have been during production)

Xiaomi 17 Ultra extreme rattle in pocket

I know the camera lens rattles due to the OIS / large sensor. I came from the 15 Ultra which did the same, as you shake it it'll particularly rattle. But over the past few weeks my rattle sounds alot louder - to the point where when the phone is in my pocket as I walk I rattle audibly from the pocket. This seems crazy for a phone and I'm 90% sure it didn't do this when I first bought it.

Is this normal? It seems excessive.

KT Pocket R2 finally arrived. Stick caps weren't like advertised (see pic4) so I used some spares to match the GameCube advertised aesthetic.

I've been hunting for the best possible remastered style 'modern GBA' experience - a 3:2 device with a high resolution & good sized display. I wanted a handheld with sharp visuals rather than blown up pixels of something like a tablet.

Screen is 3:2 but not a perfect integer scaled match, it's 6.75x GBA or 6x integer scaled with small black borders. After testing both it's extremely difficult to spot issues with it running fullscreen but I've used the sharp-shimmerless shader first, then lcd1x second (tried various other LCD shaders but couldn't get them quite right), and IMO it looks pretty awesome.

For comparison I have a 34xx which I love for a modern nostalgic feel, but it's a small display. 34xxsp is great too but I don't have personal nostalgia towards SP form factor, it's a great edc though.

R2 hardware overall feels great - all the buttons have a nice solid feel, not clicky. Triggers rattle a little when you shake the device but all quiet and nice to actually use. Comfy grip in the hands, screen is solid also for an LCD panel. Fan is silent, front firing speakers are always welcome but could use some tuning - sound abit flat. Battery life so far seems great. Software is just completely basic android currently, Google Play services supported - "KOS" still not available yet despite the device shipping, so there's absolutely no device tweaking in the software currently, no fan profiles, no display, performance, or speaker adjustments. Hopefully GammaOS is ported fairly swiftly.

Edit - I've got some WiFi issues unfortunately, seems a potential downside of the metallic body but the WiFi is almost useless unless I'm literally stood cm from the router. Within a few metres it becomes near unusable. Speaking to Nil who produces the product.
