Lifeline Redpocket Plans - Trying to change won't allow
So I'm on the lifeline phone plan that Redpocket has - 10gb. They have a 20gb plan available to lifeline customers but won't let me upgrade the plan unless i first cancel my enrollment and enroll again thus disconnecting and losing my phone coverage and phone number. i'm stuck not sure what to do.
Champagne problems: bought a 32:9 monitor and HUD is too far away
So as the title says bought a 32:9 superultrawide monitor - unfortunately because of that the HUD is too far away on the left and right of the screen. so while it looks great overall, its unplayable or i'll be doing this the whole time:
so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. looked for mods didn't find one that fit this issue. otherwise i'll have to play windowed mode and thats no fun.
Update: Defeat E4 with only Dual-Type Pokemon (No Overlap)
Original Run for Fire Red/Leaf Green: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonFireRed/comments/1rea0ac/update_give_me_6_pokemon_all_dual_types_no/
TL;DR:
Took WAYYY longer than I had hoped, slow gaining exp, weird evolutions, most available too late in the game, exp grind is difficult
Pokemon Reviews:
Girafarig (Psychic/Normal): Acquired pretty late in the game, once leveled up really solid but took a long ass time to get there. Great moveset, was MVP for E4 (prior to that was underleveled and not much help)
Heracross (Bug/Fighting): Got pretty early (post gym 2) and was the MVP for most of the game, great moveset, great coverage, did damage in johto - wasn't as great for E4 though
Magnezone (Steel/Electric): 2nd MVP of the E4 - took way too long to level up though and had to use a save editor to evolve to magnezone since i didn't have option of trading (did everything right though, no cheating)
crobat (Poison/Flying): really great, got all the moves from tms or pretty early as zubat, evolution was fast and easy, came in clutch for early/mid game. Struggled E4 was underleveled
kingdra (Dragon/Water): obvioulsy the strongest but came so late the grind was annoying, really handy as tank vs e4
mamoswine (Ice/Ground): comes way too late in the game and so underleveled was a bitch to use. had to rely on exp share and lots of grinding. pretty meh throughout but came in clutch against lance's dragonites. Also had to rely on save editor but did it right, went looking for a heart scale first, ancient power etc. etc.
Overall Experience:
I didn't really enjoy this run through as much, it felt more like a chore trying to get the right pokemon, the right moves, and level them up right. I would rather just stick to pokemon i can get early on and build off of that. maybe thats just hgss and the level curve but i remember playing it back in the day and having way more fun.
oh well, now that the mons are leveled up and good moveset for each, i think kanto will be more fun. looking forward to facing red after years!
