I’ve ran out of mobile data, EE app won’t let me add-on DATA, what are my options?
Need a few GB to get through the next few days. No data currently, only WiFi. What to do?

Hi all,
After far too long of not being part of the feds group insurance I think it’s probably time I have a look into it.
However, my partner gets plenty of benefits through her work for free and so the only thing that I can see as being beneficial is the Legal Expenses Insurance. Does anyone use one or can recommend a single stand alone Legal Expenses Insurance? Worst case I just use the feds group insurance but just seeing if I can save a few pennies somewhere!
Many thanks!
Based on previous ballots etc? I think I’ll have an around 15-18 Caps once the ballot is announced.
If I am deployed to an event all day, no food is given and no facilities are readily available such as a fridge or microwave? Can I claim for a meal?
Warning was given that no food was available?
Thanks
I'll try my best to explain my situation.
I've been in the job for almost 10 years, with most of that time spent in Neighbourhoods. Despite that, and largely because my force doesn't seem to manage response courses particularly well, I'm still only a basic driver.
Around three years ago, I was encouraged to get my D1 entitlement and was told it could help me get a response course sooner, especially as I'm also a CMS/PSU officer and there was a shortage of D1 drivers.
Fast forward to today and I'm still not a response driver.
To be honest, being a D1 driver often feels like more hassle than benefit. I'm regularly coming in early to sort the van, load equipment, fill up with fuel, and then ferry officers between stations at the end of deployments. It feels like I've taken on additional responsibilities without receiving the development I was promised.
I've raised this with both my sergeant and inspector, and they agree the situation is poor. However, the explanation seems to be that response courses are being allocated to other teams and units.
Part of me is considering refusing to do any more D1 driving until I'm given a response course. That isn't really in my nature, I generally just get on with what's asked of me, but after nearly a decade in policing, I'm finding it increasingly frustrating to still be a basic driver.
I also make a point of putting myself forward for any training opportunities, carrying out higher-risk or more demanding jobs, and regularly doing overtime when teams are stretched. I've always tried to be proactive and help where I can, which is why it's particularly frustrating to feel like that effort isn't being recognised or rewarded.
What would you do in my position?
Does the power come from the RTA or does S23 allow stopping of vehicles?
Thanks
