Liked Uncle's Reply, good job

This mindset about Indian is alarmingly increasing, atp it's just normalised. I also got many vile comments on social media just because I'm Indian, but here Uncle handled it so well. Appreciate it. Calm and composed. But sharp and direct as well.

This incident is from 2023, but recently came in spotlight . But the question is, What is wrong with people?

Link share isn't allowed in the post body. So couldn't add the direct link.

How will people believe their partners? It's really scary. Hope this society heals.

Couldn't agree more with her

See, many people might get offended with the take...but believe it or not ...it's the unfortunate fact of every system.

Showing or expressing mens' feelings or making songs about it is not the issue here, the issue is the lack of songs that are written and sung and expressed from a Womans' pov. I listen to duet bollywood songs very often, and trust me it always pisses the f off me, that how much less vocal time the woman has...the mans' pov is way more intense, dedicating and serious...but woman is only either responding or rejecting his feelings in a fun way.

We want to let society know that Women also love, they also love to express their feelings through intense lyrics , they also get heartbroken...In bollywood, I find it comparatively less...seems like only men are allowed to love their women and women are conditioned to not have their own feelings but responding or accepting the man's proposal or intention. Even in many songs, Creepy stalking and foceful touching also get normalised as romance in disguise. I've plenty of examples of that.

A viral video of a WesternRailway local train compartment has captured a man hurling expletives at a woman commuter and taking out his trouser belt in a bid to hurt her.

It's posted by The Times of India.

Andheri GRP said they are in the process of registering an FIR and are trying to track down the commuter. The incident occurred in a second class general compartment of a WR local. Fellow travelers witnessed the ruckus but did nothing to intervene. One of the travelers filmed the incident where a male traveller could be seen yelling at a woman for having slept on a train seat.

Sometimes Social media Detoxification is much much need

First of all, why would someone around the world know WEST BENGAL as a separate Identity, when it's an integral part of INDIA, and obviously one of the most important states.

>| Even In India, many (?) people don't know where west Bengal is <|

Is this something to be proud of? If someone is a citizen of India, and doesn't know about their country, does that make them look cool? They're simply geographically unaware, Illiterate, ignorant and what not!

Bengalis have always been a very rich, cultural, educated, progressive community. Yes, the current state of affairs is not that nice! But that doesn't automatically erase the history, culture, talent and creativity.

Bengal produced a huge number of Freedom fighters, scientists, inventors, authors, writers, activists, athletes!!! And if someone chooses to live under ICEBERG, does that make us any less important?

May every Kevin find their kevin

In March 2005, 22 year old Kevin Berthia stood on a thin chord of the Golden Gate Bridge, deep in despair over medical debts and severe depression, preparing to ënd his life. California Highway Patrol Officer Kevin Briggs spent 92 minutes listening intently, validating Berthia’s pain without judgment, and gently convincing him to climb back over the railing to safety. The powerful moment was captured in a viral photograph that became an international symbol of su*c*de prevention and the life-saving impact of active listening. Ten years later, in 2015, the two men reunited under incredibly joyful circumstances at the Golden Gate Bridge to commemorate the life-saving encounter. Berthia, now a healthy father of three and a prominent mental health advocate, presented Officer Briggs with an award from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Loved Aishwarya's Response to questions regarding her weight gain after postpartum and stereotypes.

I just can't believe, that still women go through so much just for existing. Many actresses faced and face a lot of scrutiny and criticism either for gaining weight or being thin. But the way, Ash handled it, graceful, smart and beautiful as always.
