Hello, per title I live in West Yorks. and I'm looking for friends, both local and further afield.

A bit about me: I'm a 28 year old man. Definitely a bit of a dork/dweeb, quite introverted, good sense of humour. I'm very inquisitive, I love learning about other people, cultures, places etc. I'm a huge geography nerd so even if you live in Devon or Aberdeenshire or wherever I might happen to have heard of whatever town or village you're from. I have a bit of an obsession with languages, and I'm planning on learning another tongue at some point (most likely French).

My main hobbies include gaming, reading, and anime. In terms of games, I mostly play Deadlock at the moment, it's my current obsession. I also play Valorant, League of Legends, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals. However I also enjoy single player games, recently I've been enjoying Control, Hades II, some boomer shooters, Screamer etc. My all time favourites include GTA San Andreas, racing games like Burnout 3, indie shooters like Severed Steel, stylish and unique games like Neon White, Journey, Jusant, story-driven stuff like A Plague Tale

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to anime and manga, but I have been getting into it quite heavily the past couple years. My favourite anime so far is Vinland Saga, but I also love Attack on Titan, Spy X Family, Delicious in Dungeon, and Mob Psycho 100. In manga terms, I've finished Delicious in Dungeon (which I love, I'll happily yap to you about it) and I've started reading Blood on the Tracks, amongst others.

I've been reading much more so far this year. My favourite book of all time is Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake. I love sci-fi, fantasy, non-fiction books if the topic interests me, and I also like thrillers and dystopian stories. I'm currently reading Vurt by Jeff Noon and Goodbye to all That by Robert Graves.

I definitely feel that I'm a bit aberrant, I'm not a social butterfly and I don't really care for mainstream things. I'd love to connect with people who feel that they're in a similar position. I'm definitely interested in the more esoteric (is that the right word?) side of mankind.

Oh, and I want to get involved in creative writing. I just need motivation and will.

Hello there. I'm looking to chat to some people and hopefully make a new friend. I'm quite introverted myself and usually don't reach out to people, so I find it much easier to make a post like this and see who I can entice to come message me.

A little about me: I'm a very inquisitive and constantly day-dreaming person with an interest in geography, languages (more specifically language origins and etymologies), photography, art, video games, sci-fi/fantasy/non-fiction books, emo music, and anime. As part of my geography passion I use Google Maps a lot, I think it stretches back to my childhood when I had a globe that I was a little obsessed with. And yes, I do play Geoguessr, on occasion. For languages, I'm mainly obsessed with etymologies in English, but I do love learning random phrases in other languages, I even tried learning Dutch at one point. I'm also about to read a book about Proto-Indo-European and it's spread, my quest for knowledge never ends.

For photography, I like to take part in amateur photography every so often. If you're interested, I can share some of the stuff I've taken. I am considering opening an Instagram account for it too.

I play a lot of video games. My main game recently has been Deadlock, though I am going through a hiatus at the moment as I may have got a tad addicted to it. I've also played lots of Valorant, Counter-Strike, League of Legends and Overwatch historically. Among my single-player favourites are Journey, Grand Theft Auto IV and V, Sleeping Dogs, Neon White, The (new) Hitman trilogy, Jusant, Hades I and II, Dishonored, Severed Steel, SUPERHOT, the Burnout games (rip). If you play on PC I'd be interested in playing something together, especially DL or Valo, gaming friends are always welcome.

My favourite animes are Vinland Saga, Spy X Family, Cowboy Bebop, and Delicious in Dungeon. I also love Frieren, Mob Psycho 100, and The Summer Hikaru Died.

I'd love to share more of my interests and passions, but I don't want to make this post any more verbose. I'd love to be in contact with anyone who shares my interests, or anyone who just thinks I seem cool. Hello everyone. I'm 28, a man, I'm from England, and I'm unemployed but currently aspire to work in marketing in some capacity. I mostly spend my free time playing games, watching anime (currently Vinland Saga), reading books (ask me what I'm reading rn). I try to draw, although I'm not great and I mostly do it with my girl, who is studying art. I like to go on walks and sometimes take photos, so I have a passing interest in photography too. I love weird and eccentric, surreal memes, the weirdest things makes me laugh tbh. I find it hard to make friends, I'm not good at making conversation and find myself a bit awkward.
