This is so interesting
So far I'm enjoying the show, but it seems like something is a little off.
Jj: having a 20 year old beef with a guy who said y'all "hooked up" when you were teenagers just seems a little weird to me? She seemed to be the only one to remember it (but ofc liars most the time can't remember their own lies, so that makes sense to me why he couldn't remember saying/doing it) but she herself said when it comes to the LPA conventions, she likes to makeout with people. Depending on who you talk too the term "hooking up" could mean different things to different people. Some people consider that to be full fledged s*x, while to some others that could be just making out. Look at the jersey shore cast for example. They went through everyone in the house and made a "hook up" chart to see whose been with who, and in the end they were all connected (gross, but that's their business) by the very least making out. So I could see the possible rumors that she's been "hooking up" with people as a common occurrence just because she likes to makeout with people. She's not wrong for making out with people, i just wanted to point that out. She should ask him full out what he meant when they were younger and talk about it so she can get the closure she needs from that situation.
Steph: it kinda seems like her last relationship messed her up a little bit. Of all the people she could've been into she has to be with the youngest person in the group who still acts like a child. With her being as accomplished as she is, I feel like she could easily find someone on her same level, but maybe she enjoys the almost toxic "high-school " romance feeling it seems like she's having with Sammy.
Krista: idk what it is, but the vibe I get from her is kinda like sheltered pick me? I also wonder if her mom said to her that people would only ever see her as a "disabled " person while she was growing up, and maybe that's why she's still so sheltered at 30? Yes I put the word disabled in quotations because we've now seen tons of little people literally just living normal lives, and some who are even successful as who they are, and it might take a few more steps for them to do certain things, but i wouldn't say their disabled and couldn't do things or themselves.
John: so far he seems to be the most normal person in the group (maybe because he's Canadian?). Although he did kinda seem to be a little jealous or maybe just shocked about the Steph/Sammy situation? It kinda felt like he thought maybe Steph would've preferred him over Sammy, but i could just be reading into that lol.
Sammy: I totally get having a second chance at life, and wanting to live it up (I myself have leukemia and will be getting a bone marrow transplant this month for it) but you would also kinda think he'd want to do something more meaningful with it since he's got that chance. Not just always being the life of the party. He just seems like he needs to grow up and not be so risky with dumb stuff.
I know, I know this is television and we don't know what they actually do when they're not being filmed its just what I've been thinking since I first started watching. What do y'all think about the group?
